As you were when we beat Newport!

With it being a friday night i didn’t even know you were playing. so it was a welcome surprise.

I trust it won’t be as foggy tonight

No fog but it will be absolutely freezing come kick off guaranteed.

Feel like we need a win tonight even just to give us a boost, last couple of home games have been absolutely dire performances, it feels like we're teetering on the edge of letting the season become a stumble across the finish line now we've nothing to play for.

Had plenty of those seasons. not going up and not doing down. It’s tough for all concerned to put that effort in when there’s nothing riding on it.

Fergie would be proud.

Anything will do, if we win i’m not bothered how it comes about.

Exactly mate. At this stage of the season, it's all about results. Although you've got to be concerned about your poor starts and nicking wins quite fortunately? Granted, you deserved to win on Saturday with your second half performance but the goal...

Against the better sides you've got left to play, a poor start may cost you as they'll be better at game management and won't allow you to swing the game in your favour second half.

Which is why expectations aren’t high and see how we get on. We do, and have found a funny knack of winning games when we’ve not played so well, which can be viewed in the perspective you’ve mentioned or in the view that if you can nick wins while being poor it’s a good sign.

In relation to the last 2 games we’ve won at the death, we should have been winning at dale at halftime, and clough was seething about the first half showing saturday. the players will be aware of it for sure.

The same minute that Oldham concede a winner against Orient probably.
If it were up to me we would give Oldham all 3 points tonight just to try and get Stevenage down.

Really hope Barrow stay up, proper old school club and such a fun away day if you tie in the Lakes.

Do think we'll win tonight, we've gone from shambolic to a decent top-10 League 2 side side Wellens has come in, hard to call though as we don't really have much to play for anymore.

Just seen we'll be without Theo Archibald tonight, picked up a very delayed 2 match ban for swearing at a ref after being sent off vs Carlisle where he picked up 2 yellows in 2 mins (the second of which being very harsh).

I'm really pleased we're already safe from the drop because on his day he's one of our best players and I think a 2 match ban for that is absolutely ludicrous.

I hope you beat Oldham tonight and then Oldham stuff Stevenage on Saturday - and Stevenage lose all the dodgy covid excuse postponement players to injury and suspension...

It all helps. Not career ending injuries obviously but enough to miss the rest of this season.
Im more worried about Port Vale than I am of Mansfield though

hmmm. that’s not the comment of a decent football fan, poor form.

I could wish your main player breaks his leg, but obviously someone normal wouldn’t do that.

Nothing wrong with wanting a rival club to pick up a few injuries.

Oates, Longstaff and McLaughlin all rested, Clough picked that team with saturday heavily on his mind.

Orient have made 5 changes from the weekend. Big Smith & Little Smyth both starting so we’ll a) be lumping it more often and b) Little Smyth will go off injured. Pissweak Ethan Coleman back in midfield and an attacking midfielder at right back. Oh and the Exeter cart horse is playing. Now is your chance, Oldham. Please take it.

Dangerous tactic that. Lose tonight and that puts even more pressure on Sat.
Imo you play your best team every game

To be fair I know Longstaff and McLaughlin picked up knocks on Saturday. Still a strong line-up, but Oates is our best striker and McLaughlin our player of the season so far for me.

Hartlepool looked a lot better than Northampton did against us. That Featherstone runs the show
