Shoddy isn’t quite right when he says we have undersoil heating but don’t turn it on.

Our former owner Fred Story decided once when were digging up and relaying the pitch, we’d take the opportunity to put the pipes in for undersoil heating for if we get into the championship (we were league 1 at the time) as that’s where it’s cost effective to run it.

So we have pipes laid under the pitch for it and nothing more. No system or boiler installed for it or anything like that.

Probably worth the win in the end. Sterry coming back made a huge difference, also props to Rollin Menayese.

First away win in 9 months and out the drop zone. We've been here before with a good result then dicked the next week. Must break that cycle.

Hartlepool were deserved winners of the game. Hand on heart if you had got a couple more I couldn't complain. We were dog turd. The type of dog turd that follows you around for weeks after you fall facedown into it.

We went back to passing the ball backwards and sideways until we found ourselves in a corner and booted it long for 5'7 Dom Telford to try to win headers.. if this is Matthew Ethrington's style then we are toast. I have seen some inept performances in my time watching Crawley but that must rank as one of the very, very worst.

If you changed the name of your town to something less tinpot, then you may have every chance of hitting those heights again by attracting big investors etc

We definitely have to sign a good centre back in Jan, preferably 2. Need an experienced L2 campaigner with a bit of leadership about him. Another left sided full/wing back as well.
