A reduced programme due to the FA Trophy Quarter Finals but still plenty of crucial games.

Barrow v Forest Green
Guiseley v Braintree
Kidderminster Harriers v Bromley
Macclesfield v Wrexham
Southport v Boreham Wood
Welling United v Aldershot Town

Tomorrow

Chester v Tranmere 12pm

Decent article here from the BBC on the history of the Chester v Tranmere Derby - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35654873

We're at home to Wrexham. Should be an entertaining game if it lives up to other recent matches between the two sides.
2-2 with Jennings scoring all four goals.

We have barely played this month, though FGR have apparently never won in Barrow (is that right???). Could go either way. 0-6

Welling away is that kind of game we should win but nothing to play for so just looking to enjoying the afternoon.
Prediction: 3-1 Shots

This has potential to be one of the smallest match threads looking at the team's who play.

Hopefully we'll beat Bromley and massively improve from Tuesday.

Thanks for posting the forgotten derby link, DSL. It will be interesting to see if the crowd exceeds the Chester conference record, have a feeling it might. Nothing less than a win will do for Rovers here, but not expecting us to manage that, particularly if Brabin starts the unfit pair of Higdon and Taylor-Fletcher.

Couple of interesting fixtures elsewhere; Braintree trying to maintain their play-off push against an inconsistent Guiseley, who need points towards their safety target and out of form Macc host a revived Wrexham. Can see draws in both.

When a team like Welling are such a long winless run it always worries me that we will be the team to end it, especially as we have lost there the last 2 years. As long as we go there with the right attitude and dont assume we just have to turn up to win we should have enough quality to see us through, but Welling away is NEVER easy!

Barrow fan for the day. Just please don't let it be another late winner.

I would be surprised if we didn't get in a bigger crowd in than the Wrexham game this season, the policing surrounding that fixture has seen it lose its appeal to a lot as I'm sure your fans will understand after the way this fixture has been dealt with. There's been more interest in the fixture than I imagined, a couple of weeks back I thought we could even be outnumbered adding in Tranmere fans in our end.

Over the past couple of seasons we've generally performed well in derby's against Wrexham so hopefully Burr gets them up for it again, on our day we can compete with anyone in this league but those days have been few and far between this season. If we play like we have for the past two months it could be a cricket score though.

We make the long trip North to Flyde today. Not feeling great though so have sat this one out. Hoping we can stretch our unbeaten run to 13 and ent Flyde`s promotion bid in the process.

Disappointed in DSL for not continuing the run of mentioning our game!

Away at mid-table Potters Bar. A chance to get things on the right tracks again and pick up maximum points.

Brabin's Tranmere don't do cricket scores, so think you're safe there. If Chester get stuck into us from the off and don't let us settle, can see a home win, otherwise a tight fought game which could go either way. This game's been strangely omitted from this weekend's prediction league, but if put on the spot I'd say draw, with Chester more likely winners than Rovers.

This is one of the few times you'll find me hoping Chester win. Come on you Seals!

As for us. Macc are on poor form but they do generally beat us, so who knows.

Usually plenty of goals so could be decent over 3.5 goals odds knocking about?

No worries, we'll score a 107th minute winner off Parkin's backside.

Did you enjoy Grimsby?

Perfect conditions in Southport for football today (apart from the pitch!). We can't really afford to lose as it will drag back towards the relegation mix, and Boreham Wood can't afford to lose either! After losing our captain and most experienced centre-half I can't see us keeping a clean sheet. Score draw I reckon.

Southport 0-2 Boreham Wood.

Looks like the honeymoon period for Dino Maamria is well and truly over then..
