Boreham Wood: 2 chances, two goals (shambolic defending from us for their second). Southport: Looked threatening for 15 mins, been absolute dogshit since. Unless there is a remarkable turn-around we look like we're right back in it.

Guiseley 1-1 Braintree
Apparently they scored when they were meant to pass the ball back to the keeper, and then refused to let Braintree go up the other end and walk the ball in. The cheating bastards

That's the end of Kidderminster, a shame.

No late winner for FGR today...

Overall good set of results for us today, not that it really matters.

Braintree got just what they deserved, a more cynical, niggly, snidey team of whinging schoolgirls I've yet to witness. Add to that a weak referee in Tom Neild who let them get away with it and that resulted in a hugely pissed of Guiseley team. Norburn passed the ball back to their keeper from just past the half way line. Braintree keeper thought it was going out for a goal kick, watched it sail over his head and into the net - justice :D

One of the worst referees I've ever seen.

Just before Bromley scored an undeserved goal Garnett had broken free only to be taken down. Both Lino's and the 4th official said it was a pen but the ref ignored them. An apology was made to Gordon but it's too late now we're down.

It's been fun.

I was at the Barrow v Forest Gump game and in the end after giving away a stupid gift of a 2nd goal we were unlucky not to win.
Barrow's equaliser was a sweet 25 yarder from Jordan Williams into the bottom left hand corner after he'd spun a Gump defender 30 yards out.
Forest Gump's number 14 looks about 6'8" tall, and has a great touch and footballing brain - but for a guy so tall he can't head the ball on target for love nor money. He's also got the worst Elvis quiff hairstyle i've ever seen in football....
Forest Gump were well organised, but let themselves down by whining at the referee constantly and trying to time waste as soon as they went 1-0 up - the keeper eventually got booked for time wasting after about 60 mins. For a team in the top 2 the turnout of about 40 away fans was shocking, although that must be about half their usual home attendance ;)

FT Fylde 0-1 Alfreton (Bradley 40)

Not there so wont go in to details. Ground it out in a poor game with few chances for either side. Matt Duke came up with another world class save to keeper Fylde out in the final minute. The home side hit the woodwork a couple of times in the first half but toiled really. Thats 5 consective away wins now and 13 Unbeaten. Just a shame we probably wont make the play-offs.

Unbelievable. A 3rd poor refereeing decision has gone against us in 3 games. First there was Chester's 'penalty' last week, then the Wrexham 'goal' on Tuesday and now an incredibly blatant penalty denied. Alan Young is completely incompetent.

Just listened to Gordon's interview and he said the linesman from the Wrexham game called the club to apologise after the videos came out on that goal and now he says that Young admitted to ignoring his assistants and the 4th official to deny us a penalty when a Bromley defender took out Garnett who was bearing in on goal. He has also pointed out that the defender admitted it was a stonewall penalty and apologised to him and Garnett after the game. :hb:

Really was not impressed by FGR: one decent bit of play in 90 mins, resulted in them hitting the post when they could have made it 3-1.
A 3-1 our way would have been fair, but for a stupid, stupid back pass for their second.
Our 3 new loanees looked very good and the equaliser was a great piece of play.
It's often said, but what a bunch of whingers and soft-arses that team in luminous green are! Dale Bennett especially is pathetic in that respect. Felt sorry for the keeper who was booked for timewasting but was actually waiting for his teammate to do up his laces. Though he got lucky when he spooned a low shot miraculously onto the roof of his net. A lot of arguing among their players, and maybe pressure's getting to them.

With free coaches as well. But we must not comment on this. We know the vegans are easily offended.

The exact same thing happened in a Grays v Woking league game a few years ago. After a player was injured, Matt Pattison passed the ball back from a free kick on the half way line, only for the keeper to completely misjudge the ball, which sailed over his head and into the net. That put us 1-0 up with a couple of minutes to go against a very niggly Grays team (it might be something in the Essex water). However, our manager insisted that our players let Grays walk the ball into our net from the restart for an equaliser. Pretty poor IMO that Guiseley didn't do the same.
