Can't believe no-one's posted about today's last, but by no means least, team to join us for 2016/17.

Always a good day out Barnsley. Reasonably accessible, big away end, one or two decent pubs.

Rather them than the Neanderthals of Millwall, despite the appeal of a day out in London.

Would have rather it would have been Millwall. Closer and better away day. Well done Barnsley though. Will finish above us next season although most if not all the sides in the league will.

Not a fan of Millwall, but given we lost Charlton this season would have been nice to get another London away day back.

Glad Barnsley are back over Millwall, half an hour away from Sheffield, good away day would be nice if they keep our trip to Oakwell a 3pm kick off for a change. Expect them to struggle a bit though there early signings would have question marks over them in League One never mind the Championship, and there decent players will probably all end up at Bristol City.

Welcome back Barnsley, you weren't gone for long. Good to have Craig and Jamo in this section as well.

Must admit, don't get the fascination with London away days. Obviously Wembley it's for the whole occasion, but a league match, unless you're from down South and it's a local game which would be understandable. Then I don't get the enjoyment of an expensive day out, well over £4 a pint, overcrowded and grumpy people. Last London league away I did was Charlton, soon as we hit London moved at snails pace through traffic, pubs were shit, rammed, overpriced and everyone looked like they'd starred on crimewatch.

Barnsley's a decent away day, good one for a train day out and have a few drinks in decent pubs, with more reasonable prices. Friendly people too.

Delighted that Barnsley been promoted, been ages since we've been in the same league together and im sure we'll take a steady following there for that reason, its like an home game for me aswel as Oakwell is a similar distance as NYS from where i live.

Looking forward to playing Rotherham too. What is it about 15 years since we've played each other competitively?

Really looking forward to next season. Aston Villa, Newcastle, Forest, Birmingham, Derby, Preston, Ipswich, Wolves, some great clubs in this division. Also loads of Yorkshire derbies (I fully intend to wrest control of the Yorkshire thread back).

2005 last time we were same league, the season where a certain Trevor Kettle made his name and became the worst referee ever to step out on a football pitch.
