Delighted both you boys are up. If I had to hand pick who I wanted up you would occupy 2 of the 3. Looking forward to the local games next season!!

Could say the same with yourselves and South Yorkshire, although you won't admit it.

Congrats Burton and Salop.

Except that's bollocks and a shit wind up from the biggest irrelevance in league football - a Scunthorpe United fan.

Not sure what the etiquette is on welcoming a team to the party, when you're making your excuses to everyone about having to leave early and trying to find a cab company that'll take you north of the river this time of night, but welcome Burton, anyhow.

The local games and decent games in league one next season compared to league two is incredible. Burton (local) Vale (local) shrewsbury (local) then blackpool, wigan etc. We have to stay up

Shrewsbury aren't up yet are they?

Looking likely though and so glad to be escaping this Northern league, I'm sure Swindon will be cheering Wycombe on for a Southern game next season.

Wycombe seem to be flagging at the wrong time. Maybe they really want to stay in Home counties league next season, for all the local derbies they get.

I'm looking forward to Shrewsbury visiting just so I can laugh at someone else paying Tyrone Barnett to be a donkey.

Chuffed for Burton, good little club and only fifteen miles from me in NW Leicestershire.

Two great memories playing them at VP in the last two meetings, the 3-0 win the day we went into administration and finally got a club back and spent the last 15 minutes all on our feet singing as one again after what had happened in the years preceding and the great 7-1 in front of 10k on a Friday night which edged us virtually to promotion. Hopefully we can get the point we need to ensure we can meet again and a visit to the Pirelli and the pub near the Coors factory.

2 very emotional games tied to Burton. That admin night with the 'stand up if you love the Vale' had grown men near me in tears. Fuck off

The 7-1 bumming had me in shock and disbelief I was in a total state of drink fuelled confusion. It was amazing.

So glad Burton have made it. Always had a soft spot for them.

Shrewsbury can fuck off though. Hate them but glad they're back here. Dickheads.

Happy with this. Burton is a great away day and I've got a couple of mates in Shrewsbury. Lovely.

Great way for Burton to comeback after losing last seasons play off final

Another promotion beckons for Shrewsbury's Micky Mellon

Thanks lads, looking forward to it. I'm sure we will be able to cope with the step up. There are loads of games for us within an hour and a half which is great for travelling fans. I'm sure the Pirelli will be a 1st time for several clubs and look forward to you visiting our away terrace.
Just to reiterate for any body who is not sure Burton-on-Trent is in Staffordshire, something our fans are very proud about !
I mention this because the1st time we went to Bradford City they sang some derogatory song about Derbyshire and looked totally bemused with the laughter from Albion fans when we replied with Staffordshire la la la.

Can't believe you managed to get us to pay part of that blokes wages and come on loan here last season, you should of been paying us to play the bloke ffs

We really were at a proper low when we resorted to signing him as a loanee to score goals..

But then again, we weren't the fools who spent £1m on the bloke, so I feel satisfied

Absolutely gutted with this double whammy - we get relegated and to compound it all I don't even get an away day at Burton next season - I live a couple of miles from the Pirelli :ffs:

Really pleased for Burton though, they are a fabulous club

A real shame that, you be made more than welcome down the Pirelli as you know, to come and see the Brewers in league 1.

It was slightly tongue in cheek but I've always got the impression, rightly or wrongly, that Burton on Trent is Staffordshire more by luck than design.

ps I hope you take your dog shit back with you!

I for one am extremely happy to be living in East Staffs and not a couple of hundred yards over the River Dove in South Derbys.

Top Tip for any fans visiting the Pirelli - try the faggots, chips and mushy peas. Best food i've had at a football ground.

We do share something in common Cashis, and that's a dislike of the sheep club ! they represent Derbyshire in this neck of the woods. Nowt against the Spireites, just good rivalry !
