Seen us thrashed many a time, especially in the last few years. Most of them have been mentioned already. However, the worst performance I've ever seen from us was last year at York. Lost 2-0, should have been 7. I live in York too, so felt pretty sick about it for a good while after.

Away at Elland Road under John Barnes was similar. Think it finished 3-0 but they could easily have had 10 if wasn't for Luke Daniels in goal. I was working in Leeds at the time and a few gloating colleagues on the Monday said we were by far the worst team they'd ever seen.

Crewe 8-1 Cheltenham, 4-0 down at half time after which it just became a bit of a laugh seeing how many they'd score. But performance wise it couldn't get any worse.

Also see the majority of games from the season just gone - a particular highlight being Cheltenham 0-3 Plymouth. Words can't adequately describe how badly we defended, so I'll let the highlights do the talking:

Wait while you play in the trophy again, somehow performances in that just seem worse when you lose.

Chester 1, Brighton 7. 1999-2000 season.

A young Bobby Zamora scored 3 or 4, I think. Wayne Brown in Chester's goal had a game to forget (to put it mildly). Strangely, I think we won the reverse fixture 3-2. A the end of the season we went down and if we'd have lost that game only 1-6, I think we'd have stayed up.

I still have nightmares over that first goal. Easily the worst defending I've ever seen.

Losing 4-0 at Accrington was awful in 09/10 a well. Putting a 5'6 midfielder at centre-back is still the worst tactical decision I have ever seen from any manager at CTFC.
