There are at least a half a dozen teams in the Championship bigger than Chelsea reserves. Have you never played a Premier League side before?

Played Wimbledon in the League Cup in 1987. Beasant, Eric Young, Vinnie Jones, Fashanu, Sanchez et Al. Seem to remember that they were all biggish lads...

You played professional? I got 4th tier Dutch football (semi-pro and amateur mix) anwe faced Vitesse in a friendly 6-1 defeat qnd i was centre-mid and played the whole 90. After that relegated twice and now we are a establshed 6th tier side it was 2012 when we played Vitesse

Your original post said "your team" so my reply referred to Rochdale FC. And although Rochdale were fairly crap during the 1980s they were no where near bad enough to require my services!

I did play cricket (badly) on the opposite team to future England Captain Mike Atherton once when at school...

The mighty Embankment...It would have been just like home
The rain battering you as you watched. Sea gulls crapping on people overhead......the unmistakable smell from blocked drains when you went to the toilet.
Half time bovril thick powder at the bottom of your small plastic cup.
Ahh memories.....Nobody has them facilities now....surely

Anyone who's played Nottingham Forest has played one of the European giants- 2 Champions Cups, when it MEANT something! In fact, I'd like to revise my original answer and say Nottingham Forest, since United had only won it once when we played them. :ds:

Most of us aren’t professional or semi-professional players, so probably Finchley Catholic High School for me. They were big and a bunch of dirty c*nts too.
