Hello Pals, i will be pleased to know your take on this issue. Among this four world known and recognised coaches who had made an indelible mark during their reigns (although some are still making theirs) who will you rank first, second, third and fourth of all time.
SIR ALEX FERGUSON, JOSE MOURINHO, ARSENE WENGER and PEP GUARDIOLA.

Please kindly look at my own point of view on this issue. If am to do the ranking myself, it will look like this.
Fergie-Jose-Wenger-Pep. Am sure you will ask me why.
Fergie came first in my list because, with average and well below average players look at the number of trophies he brought to united. Of a truth he should be the first. With just 1 or 2 star players, he managed to win 2 champions league. He worth the first.

Jose came second on my list because going back to what he did at porto, with average players too he managed to even win a champions league and other cups. He was unvailed at the bridge and also show case his managerial talent by winning trophies even at the first season. he worth the second spot but i believe he cannot stand sir fergie.

the businessman came third on this list because of his talent at transfer market, his profitability in the squard and been able to manage a squard of average players to consistently play in champions league. He worth the third spot.

Now, so many will be displaced to see the current best manager in the world in my last spot. Here is my reason for that. lets look that the squard pep had managed so far to earn him these accolades. I strongly believe you know that Barcelona was already established before he got to camp nou. Although he added a little but the players he met were the best players then. and even in his current club, they won three major cups before he came on board, meaning the club was way above average. A club with all stars what do you expect of such a club. Please let him manage wigan and let see what become of him.

If my list is what you have in mind kindly like this post so that i can know people of like-mindedness and if you are of other opinion we will be pleased to know yours. Lets celebrate these guys

Mourinho and Pep, are on a level. Pep hasn't proved himself by building his own team or managed in a league that's not a one or two horse race. Mourinho because he can't build a team, but has proved himself in the PL to a certain degree. Until his ritual 3rd season capitulation.

Fergy without doubt the best of the bunch, and Wenger just because of his achievements of keeping Arsenal in the top 4 from the beginning even whilst building a stadium and fielding teams like this...

Have to agree, if Pep can turn Man City around into a dominant force next season then he will shoot up the list to 2nd, Mourinho is behind Wenger due to being able to bring instant success but he can't last more than 3 seasons it seems before he leaves or it goes tits up. Fergie and Wenger both have had prolonged periods of success in their careers but Fergie being the more successful.

A good thread, imo. Ferguson wins it, but after that it's really tough to decide.

Mourinho has had great short-term results everywhere he's gone, but has failed to make it work in the long or even medium term.
Wenger has sometimes failed to get the best out of his squad, but his consistence is hugely impressive and seems to almost never sign flops, either. His ability to rejuvenate the squad is very impressive.
Guardiola has won so much in such a short time, but he hasn't had a tough job yet.

Imma say Ferguson, Wenger, Guardiola, Mourinho.

I strongly believe United board will not want to sign him on a short term basis, so there might be a change when Mou get to old trafford

He won't, he's too busy drinking himself into a stupor these days.

I think you'll find he spends his time acting as the spectre of Old Trafford, looming over the shoulder of his successors and making sure they feel an unburdening pressure until the day they are inevitably sacked. His job is to look gloomy at for that perfectly encapsulating end of MOTD shot when United lose to a team they haven't lost to in 30 years at Old Trafford (I think all those great records are gone now to be fair).
