Leeds are beginning the season very strongly.
It reminds me Olympique de Marseille with Bielsa. They were on top of the french league for months and they finished exhausted and finally finished in 3rd place.
I can't imagine Leeds being that strong all season. I think they will get exhausted and will have a very difficult second part of the season.
They may be relegated...

What do you think?

Think they will finish midtable personally. Bielsa's teams have tired as the season goes on and others will wisen up to how they play.

Theres only 1 spot left. Leeds are more than good enough to be better than a number of teams.

Really?! Nothing from what I've seen has suggested they'll be getting relegated!

No. Top 10 minimum imo.

Relegation wil probably be out of the current bottom 5 or 6.

Quite unlikely. But you never know how things will turn up. But they have performed well, they are far from the red line! They are just fresh from the 16 years in the cold. They really shouldn't go back there.

Would be quite a major upset, but let's see!

Leeds fc have their way of playing the league at the middle of the season, so they can't relegate

I am very confident Leeds United will be safe this season. An obvious statement but, they will score more goals than the teams who will be in trouble. They can strengthen their defence next season.

Leeds started the season well. If they can keep the togetherness and unity of the team till the end of the season, they could end up in the 10th position or better, but if the players do encounter injuries or the covid-19 virus, then it will be difficult to make it through the season

I think they will be alright, I thought they might find goals hard to come by but Bamford had been surprisingly prolific. There are certainly 3 worse teams than them.

Leeds will be happy to finish 17th, but I think they will do better than that. Almost a new defence this season and it's taking a while to gel. They create a lot of chances which have largely gone begging, but they showed their intend when they were robbed of at least a point at Anfield at the start of the season.

Starting to get worried now losing at home to WHU. These are the games they need to be getting at least a draw from. Fortunately Sheff Utd look doomed already and WBA are really struggling. That 3rd spot is the one to avoid.

Why does it remind of marseille tailing off? Do you just spout the same pundit rubbish?
I dont think leeds will have any players going off to the ANC like marseille did that year maybe that was the reason they tailed off to 3rd?

I reckon the opposite to tiring out is more likely to happen. Leeds are scoring plenty of goals so if the defence and GK improves there's no reason not to pick up more points or go on a run.
Agreed ~~ plus the fact that they will learn to defend better as the season progresses.

I think they'll be happy to find themselves above Arsenal after 22 games.

Im a little bit biased but theres a massive reason to our defence being shit, last season we had one of the best defences in the league all be it at a lower level, this season we have not had our 2 main CB signings who both happen to be full internationals for top nations play together at all and are currently playing a player at CB that last season played a total of 5 games

Obviously I cant claim it would make a difference but it would be nice to have 2 quality CBS instead of a youngster and Liam bloody cooper

If someone said to me after 22 games youd be 10th in your first pl season I'd have told them to behave , 17th was the aim we are exceeding expectations and entertaining on the way all though last nights game wasnt the best in terms of excitement

I didn't realise Leeds had those players but that should make a big difference if it goes to plan. In fairness Leeds have looked better when Liam Cooper has been in defence in recent weeks.

Cooper is decent. The bad news for Leeds is Berardi is back in training....

Drop Klich, his form has been poor. Not convinced with Rodrigo in cm or anywhere at the moment. Makes me wonder if we could actually do with buying a quality central attacking midfielder.

I cant wait for the pandemic to f*uck off.......I miss travelling with the boys to away games so much!

Awful performance against the gunners. Not been at it today at all. No urgency and hunger like we showed versus Palace and Leicester. We needed to raise our game and didn’t. Critics say we can’t play without Kalvin and we’ve not proven them wrong.

Confident we will stay up though!

Yes I saw that he wasn't playing and feared the worst.

Yes we'll stay up comfortably. The bottom three are cut adrift.
