RefWatch; Ref for Wombles v Daggers game (played 8, W4, D2, L2) is Simon Hooper (he did Burnley v Brighton TV game today), 33, an IT manager from Swindon. Big, bald chap, and tough as well - once broke his left leg playing 5-a-side and he thought it was just a calf strain for 3 weeks (so he's a bit thick too). Joined Swindon as a 9 year old, but didn't make the grade as centre-forward, so was released at 16 and decided to be a ref. Christ, played for Swindon & now a ref, your mum must cry herself to sleep. Represented Wiltshire at tennis, archery & athletics as a junior. Fuck it Hooper, if I had half your talent I wouldn't be spending my Tuesday nights reffing fucking Dagenham, I'd be playing mixed doubles with Busty Belinda & her fit mate Trashy Tina, or putting my huge arrow into Saucy Suzie's moist quiver (or whatever archers fucking do).

FL ref since '08, promoted to Premier League this season, but demoted after one game (Norwich v Palace - wrongly disallowed a goal), and now he's reffing fucking Dagenham on a freezing, wet Tuesday night. Well, he is used to crushing disappointment, being from Swindon, the Gaza Strip of the Thames Valley. Reffed Wombles once; 4-1 win v Cheltenham in Sept '11 (2Y), when that man mountain Ricky 'Pitbull' Wellard opened the scoring with a trademark towering header, & winning L2 games seemed pretty simple. Went downhill sharpish after that, didn't it. Reffed fucking Dagenham 5 times (W2, D1, L2, 3Y), last one being 1-0 home loss to York in April '13. Hates the scum. Reffed them once against Yeovil & they lost & he sent a filthy scum off. Hates them. Top man. Hooper's home win % is 48%, just below average. In 40 games last season he gave 131 Y & 4 R - high Y.
Attacking stats; Wombles have 90 shots on target with 28 goals, 3rd best in division; Daggers just 57 shots (second lowest) with just 17 goals (lowest).
Foul stats; dirty Wombles have conceded 222 fouls this season (second highest), Daggers conceded 194 - average. Dirty cheating Mansfield are well out in front on 247, still the dirtiest team in the history of mankind, but give me the Stags honest brutality over Wycombe's sly diving any day (they go down quicker than Ainsworth's mum).

AnagramWatch; Simon Hooper = I Ho Pornos, Me. I Home So Porn. I Porn Some Ho. Pooh On Miser. Ooh Porn Semi. Penis Ho Room.
Dagenham & Redbridge = Dan Banged Grim Redhead. Her Minge Grand Bad Dad . Inbred Demand Hard Egg.

Is it just me, or are the Ref watch reports getting longer that the games.

Wombles the Womble this one 3-0. Barry Fuller to score.

We're owed a bit of luck at Wimbledon, surely? Flashbacks from my first visit when Edmans' diving header completely missed the ball, second visit when only god knows how we didn't win that 2-2 game and last season when Ayo's last minute goalbound strike was blocked by one of our own players ffs.

Still, things may come to a head tomorrow night as we have the terrace behind the dugouts, and with the way some of our fans feel about Wayne & co. at the moment, it could be a little bit ugly (Well it will be, have you seen some of our supporters? YUK!).

Edmans going on a 60 yard mazy dribble though back in 11/12! It's a stadium where magic happens. We'll win this one. 0-2.

Were on a good run at the moment. 5 games unbeaten, just outside the play-offs. Playing bottom of the table.

What can possibly go wrong.......

Missing this match due to college - so that probably means we're gunna thrash em. 5-0.

I won't be there. That means we have every chance of winning as it's almost December and I'm yet to see us win this season. Plus I've only ever seen us win away 3 times in the entire football league despite going to 40 plus away games in that time.

Okay you win. It must really suck to be a Dagenham fan!

I only know one of your supporters and she definitely isn't ugly.

I think she's boycotting at the moment, especially after treatment she received at a home match a few weeks back.

This has away win written through it like a stick of rock. 80 minutes of unimaginative huffing and puffing from us in the face of dogged defending ends with a scrappy Daggers' goal, after which we lump it up to Akinfenwa for 10 minutes who's unfortunately too busy tweeting about branded beastwear to notice.

I told you. I FUCKING TOLD YOU.

I hereby declare myself a curse. Fuck off Daggers, you lovely bastards. You can still fuck off though.

Truly awful game of football won by our fuck up and an awful goal. We really can't beat the poor sides at the bottom.

Well, there you go. Apart from Akinfenwa somehow given a starting place so he could waste the first 80 minutes instead of just the final 10.

More possession
More shots
More shots at goal
More corners
But the one really REALLY important statistic that is missing.
GOALS.
So predictable that game.

You can have 95% possession, 100 shots at goal and the opposition only 1, but if they score with the one and only chance they get and we miss ours. You get what you deserve..... absolutely fuck all.

Well played Daggers. You deserved that, you'll probably not have an easier game all season.

Well there goes the mythical "District Line Cup". We will have to win it back on April 19th at their gaff.

An honour to retain the cup once more ;)

Bloody great celebrations for Curo's lob, been a long time coming. When you're down there in the form that we're in, you savour those goals so much more. As everyone has said though, smash and grab from us, but we're not complaining!

I can't believe that currently, we're not one of the two shittiest teams in the league. We've won 2 games in the league all season. Let's hope we can pick up a little bit of momentum and stay out of the bottom two for a few weeks at least and see what happens. A home win would be nice as well...

We were right down the barrel of it in the terrace, and it honestly looked to me as though he was attempting to chip the 'keeper. There wasn't any other players in the box, he looked up and saw him a bit off his line, and that's what Curo loves doing. By all means we were extremely fortunate to win that, but we showed the sort of spirit that's been lacking for a while now in defending to the death and not conceding any silly goals from set-pieces (even if I did have kittens when that ball went across the face with about a minute left).

Felt like a bit of a turning point last night (hopefully), might not be immediately visible with Saturday's game a tough ask, but we have a side now that appear to have some bollocks about them.

What a howler from the keeper. Bloody awful.

There was a player rushing in so it could have been a cross but who cares? I would have taken a goal from a diving header by the lino if it got us 3 points.
