Anybody got it?

I took that long bothering to sort out a Us account that I've ended up with a UK one now. One question I wanted to ask was does the US version have more previous episodes of RAW on than the UK one?

The UK one is mid 1997 atm (i think), so wondered if the US keeps going?

Not too sure about if there's any difference in content from the US one. I think it's the same, but I could be wrong.

I've been watching quite a lot of stuff on this. And I've got to say, from watching some late 90's stuff... it's more violent than I remember! Some of those head shots with chairs are actually uncomfortable to watch by modern standards.

Ah right, my plan initially was to start with the first ever RAW, and watch every Raw (and eventually Smackdown when i get there) and PPV in order. However, if i get to mid 1997 and catch up, I'm stuck really.

With what we know about concussion too, nevertheless i still have that niggle from a kid that it's cool as fuck :D

I think that as a kid watching it all, I kind of over estimated how "fake" wrestling was. I just assumed that they had some particular way to turn their head or something to lessen the impact, or performed some kind of other wizardry. But now looking at it, and like you say with knowing about the concussions and shit... jeez. It seems brutal as fuck!

I hope you lot if your trying to catch some attitude stuff you make sure to watch the Main Event of Over the Edge 1998

that for me is the best highlight of where the attitude era worked for WWF, but you have to watch the entire thing from the awesome intro promo videos they did back then to the absolute superb 20 minute OTT ring introductions by Pat Patterson witt King/JR adding to the whole moment, to the actual match itself.

dont watch the PPV....its crap but make sure to watch that main event, but it has to be the whole thing, just perfectly done.

Got mine yesterday, mostly to be able to watch content when I want and WCW ppv's for NWO/Goldberg/Sting in their prime.

I'm half tempted to sign up to this and relive my youth, just need to try and justify the £10 a month though.

You can pay for one month, then unsubscribe, then go back for 3 months later - so it doesn't have to be monthly.

Very true. They don't do first month free like Netflix or anything like that do they? Still, to watch some PPV's in decent quality from 1997-2002 era would be worth the monthly fee anyway. Might sign up this weekend.

Not at the moment, they probably will do again at some point. I've seen most of the PPV's back. Some of the exclusive series and live streaming is pretty good. Also - the WCW/ECW stuff is priceless.

(And total divas)....:tw:

Watched Royal Rumble 2000 yesterday (up until the Rumble match itself which I'll finish tonight). Such a fantastic PPV and exactly why the Network is good value for money. I'm working my way through all the old catalogue and re-living so many things form my youth, and can do so as many times as I like.

The debut of Tazz
The Hardyz vs Dudleyz in the first ever tag-team table match.
Mae Young's puppies
Street Fight - Cactus Jack vs HHH
Taka Michinoku smashing his face in.

Top stuff.

was it 2000 or 2001 where the rumble turned hardcore with Raven? im thinking 2001 as Raven debuted after Tazz to torment him

Yeah it's 2001, around about the whole Invasion angle, and Shane and Stephanie turning on Vince. And Austin joining them. Got some great stuff to watch on the Network over the next few months.

I might need to watch that Rumble at some point. Raven bringing his trash can of toys and if I remember rightly that was the one that Kane went mental in too

Yep RR 2000 is one of my all time favourite results. Out of interest, do you have an external hard drive Mase? Do you ever torrent download? As I can quite easily get you all the attitude era raws in a few clicks of a button.

Ha, the same PPV I've been watching, too. Watching it over the course of a couple days. It is superb, and I'm saying that even though I've not actually got to the street fight or the rumble yet. I'm going to watch No Way Out afterwards... I'm not actually sure that I've ever watched the HIAC at No Way Out, you know  I've seen highlights of course, but never sat and watched it start to finish... which is quite incredible.

Not really, but if you download say 2 weeks at a time, you'l have 4 episodes (2 Raw and 2 Smackdown) generally within an hour. Be even better to watch weekly episodes all at once with PPV's.

Cactus jack Vs HHH is my personal fave HITC so I hope you enjoy it in full Oaf. Bet it was good to watch live when it was in them days you sort've expected retired to mean gone forever and had no spoilers to tell you Foley was in bad shape and needed away.

so crowd was all 100% backing Foley

Yeah, I can't think of many big matches that have eluded me over the years, but that one sticks out like a sore thumb. I've seen the rumble before it and the WM after it, but never that match itself!

Did anyone bother with the monday night wars stuff? The sting/taker one was excellent. Dave would enjoy that content and the WCW stuff.

love on the PS4 app that you can skip to beginning of each match, plus the defining moment of each match (or at least you could on the WCW PPV I watched)
