So I wasn't there and therefore have no idea of what happened. Wycombe Twitter said the red card was for handbags off the ball with a WW player. Fair enough if true. Let's not jump to conclusions re. Spitting.

Spitting is taking "banter" too far but it depresses me how many fans get upset and offended if a player gives back the abuse he's getting.

I can't wait for that Hartlepool fans' 'rant' video on this spitting incident...

I imagine Magnay will be a big loss for Pools, so they could struggle this month.

Clearly that 'rant' video was done by someone who may not have the same social skills as most ( I'm being very polite ) .. but as someone who isn't blinded by fanaticism, if he has done as stated , he must get the MAXIMUM punishment and issue an apology for his actions ...

Decent game overall, thought we probably did just enough to deserve the win. Though Pools are a million miles improved from when I saw them last season, look pretty handy going forward though suspect at the back. (i think I've missed all this Bingham stuff but I thought he was a real handful).

Sending off was a way from me but someone I know who was nearer the incident said it was the right decision. Unfortunately they did also mention "that it looked like he spat towards fans too" though I can't confirm.

Given the makeshift back 4, delighted with the win ahead of a difficult few games coming up.
