Does anyone on here use it? What repo's do you use?

Just installed Kodi the other day currently using the standard Aeon Nox skin having a play about with it atm trying to change the default background. As for repos Ive got sportsdevil and BBC ipayer installed I did install fusion but was to clutterd and didnt like it.

I know most are using vdub25, Phoenix,Ice Films,genesis ect.

I'd recommend Navi X too once you're more familiar.

Also, install NBC Sports Live Extra. Use a VPN for the US and Boom - Every single PRemier league game in full HD, and English, LIVE. Even 3pm Sat.

Its an official repo, it'll already be in the standard repo to install.

Just install cyberghost on your computer and select the US as your location and you get EVERY PL game, live, in full HD.

Nice one fella. I've only ever used Kodi/XBMC for watching movies. And I often leave it so long between uses that I end up having to download new shit every time I use it.
I'll have a proper look at doing this later.

No worries, I don't even have Sky anymore since I got my XBMC set up correctly. There's just no need for it.

Technically, it's not us that are doing anything illegal. It's the people who are hosting the files.

It's morally wrong. It's like going out and standing next to someone who is stealing a car and just watching them do it without stopping them. It's morally wrong but you're not committing a crime.

Same as me mate my movie & tv show collection is bordering 3tb currently with thanks to Kickass ect

Il defiantly look into that mate nice one. Are there any other things I should check out sports wise I have no need for Tv or Movies although 4od player would be nice but seems to no longer be working.

I don't use Kodi but do use Plex which is built on Kodi I believe.

I am getting a fire TV next week and thinking about installing Kodi on it and possibly getting rid of plex, or using both seen as I have already have several media streamers. Will be cancelling sky when the Fire TV arrives too.

If i'm honest, I'd sign up on unblock-us for a US vpn (about £2 a month) it's unlimited and it's great.

What do you mean i don't have to host the files myself? If you mean stream everything i want, yeah i could do that but then i don't download anything anyway.

I'm in the military everytime i go away i copy loads of stuff. I have over 2tb of stuff already and never downloaded a thing. So plex is great for watching my files.

I intend to give Kodi ago though just for the live tv plug ins and others. We already have netflix and amazon prime. So sky is getting cancellled now we finally have fibreoptic broadband.

Finally got round to having a play with Kodi and installed NBC sports extra no problem, works great thanks!

However also installed Navi X, and half the links don't work, click on random films or streams etc. but they say loading in the bottom left corner for a few seconds then nothing happens, is that because the links are now dead or is it me?

Thanks for that mate I look into a paid VPN £2 a month you cant grumble

I prefer torrent because of 720p/1080p quality you cant get with streams I find.

Just install the Black Gloss Nova skin and set up your favourites. I've had both and Kodi/xbmc shits all over plex.

Am sure it does, if you can be bothered to set it up and customise it. However I can't, Plex just works right off and does everything I need.

I don't want to customise everything. I used to have the original WDTV box several years ago and set up my own moviessheets and all sorts before all this pulling it automatically from the net. I can't be bothered with customising and setting it up myself anymore. Plex does it all for me. That will do for me.

Especially as I can watch all my films/Tv shows on my laptop, Roku, fire tv, chromecast, both mine and the missus tablets and phones and the kids tablets even when away from home, and all I had to do was install plex on my computer and point it to my harddrive. Simple.

This seems like a real pain in the arse to set up. Every time I try to watch an American channel, after installing an American VPN, all I get is "One or more items failed to play - check the log file".

Yeah I got that a lot as well. Seems a lot of links are dead. Only add on that seems to work reliably is Genesis, and NBCsportsextra.

I've got Icefilms and NBCsportsextra working now. Just flicking through Icefilms and it's quite scary the amount of content they have on there.

Customizing the layout skins and everything else is all part of the fun. I have SportsDevil & BBC Iplayer currently installed atm but will look into NBC when I find a decent VPN.

3TB of 1080p and 720p movies & tv shows >>> Ice films Genesis.
