I don't use it anymore, the guy who updated it had to take some time off from it and I'm not sure if he's packed it in or he's coming back to it. Some of the Sky links still work, but he stopped updating the SNBC ones which were the best streams tbf.

Fair enough, might swerve it then, cheers.

A media server plugged into the back of my telly. Also my phone which I use to cast to the Chromecast on my bedroom telly.

I'd recommend Navi X too once you're more familiar.

Also, install NBC Sports Live Extra. Use a VPN for the US and Boom - Every single PRemier league game in full HD, and English, LIVE. Even 3pm Sat.

I'm having trouble getting NBC to work, keeps saying it needs login credentials. I've got CyberGhost to VPN.

You cant get it to work the same way now. As you say it requests login details now, which is one reason people used the vdubt25 links for nbc. Trouble is that's down now as well.
Try the Mobdro app Gilly. It's not as good as Kodi when that's all working out but it's worth having. I just watched Villa Arsenal using it, looked HD which is unusual for the app but it tends to work 95% of the time.

Gilly recommended Phoenix to me which is fantastic for Premier League games, are there any similar addons for Champion's League (who am I kidding, Europa League) and general European league games?

You'll get streams from SportsDevil, that's the best place I've come across so far.

Has anyone used the Kore app to use your phone as a remote for Kodi? Works pretty well, I'd imagine my laptop will be hooked up to my telly quite a lot now so this will be rather handy.

SuperRepo has everything. I suggest people just install it and browse the Video Addons available on it. It has thrown up quite a few surprises for me.

Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh? The pleasures of a subtle soft cheese? Coleman Hawkins' Body and Soul? Ash Ra Tempel's Schwingungen? Oulipo? Filipino exploitation cinema? Arte Povera? The identity of Jack the Ripper?

Free VPN services, as a rule of thumb, are shit. They restrict both data usage and bandwidth, and the reliability of the connections are suspect and prone to drops. Go with a paid service, my recommendations would be PIA or AirVPN. We're only talking between £5 and £8 a month, and it's money well spent. I have mine on all the time, and not because I'm doing anything illegal (I'm not) but purely because it stops tracking and improves general security as a result of the secure tunnel between yourself and the VPN server.

Never once had a problem with the 'shit' vpn to watch a 90 minute football match.

In which case they have improved in the last 2-3 years, which shouldn't be a surprise I guess. The reason I went with a paid service is because I couldn't find a single free client that was worth the bother. Personally, I'd rather pay a small fee and have the security of knowing my connection speed matches my fibre bandwidth, no logs are being kept and that I don't have to reconnect every time I hit 1gb.

You probably do have restrictions that make it poor for some users, but I doubt most would see a problem for the short period. Ghost VPN is also a paid service with a free option, so it makes sense that it's not going to be total shit as that's not going to sell their paid version very well for them. Initially the free service is the same as the paid service then after you've used it for a short while, I think I got about 2 weeks worth, you have the restrictions kick in. What they amount to for the most part though is that you have to wait 1 or 2 minutes to be queued for an available free slot. Not much bother when you're just sticking it on to watch a football match.
If you want it just to get around the regional issues of connecting to sites like SNBC (or rather did, before they required passcodes) then it works fine. If you use one for the purposes of anonymity then there's probably better options. But for nowt it does (did) the job.
