Most tinpot thing I ever heard. (tinpot thread)

Because I'm sad I had a look for the FA rules on sponsorship and it seems that you can have one sponsor's logo up to 250 square cm on the front of the shirt. That Paddy Power logo is massively bigger than that surely.

    2018-19 National League North

I think the timing is down to Gray's contract, which presumably would have been up in a few weeks when he would have been at the club for a year. It seems that the board have told Gray that the contract would not be renewed, and he's left rather than see it out. Probably a good move for everyone...

    Sack Race - 2018/19

Let's stick Martin Gray in here. We've started poorly and sacked the manager in autumn for the last several seasons, and it's not currently looking like that's going to change.

    Pre Season Friendles Thread

We duly got thumped 7-1 by Barnsley. I can't see us doing anything at all this season as we can't defend.

I think the kicker there is the phrase " and generally caused disruption".

We beat Shildon 2-1 on Saturday. Barnsley next up tomorrow evening. Really struggling to bring myself to care about the coming season.

    Season Tickets

Prices frozen from last season, which is probably the only possible course of action. We had around 1,400 last season, more than we had in the National League, but I can see it dropping massively.

    2017/18 National League North

Reyt. At some point this might become a good idea, but right now it isn't. Many questions spring to mind. 1. What league is this club going to appear in? Where is the money coming from? Even NCEL div 1 sides need a budget. 2. Where are they going to play? Nowhere in York is suitable, unless...

    2018-19 National League North

Which is amazing because we have no money. Or do we? Who knows, at the moment if Jason McGill told me that today was Monday I'd have to double check.

He'll fit right in with us, then. I seriously doubt we're going to playing lovely football next season. The question will be whether it's remotely effective.

    2017/18 National League North

It seems that there was some interest, but nothing concrete. Looks increasingly as though the club was never really for sale. Gray has been carrying on regardless as if he had the faintest idea what the budget for next season would be. I'm sick of being treated like an imbecile by this lot, and...

Rumours on our forum that we're in for Denton.

    2017/18 National League North

It would be laughable if we somehow managed to scrape into 7th place now. There's no way we deserve any chance of promotion after this abortion of a season.

    2017/18 National League North

It's not mathematically done yet, but you'd imagine that's our season over. Will no doubt be confirmed on Saturday, which will also mark the end of my time as a season ticket holder until there are some radical changes.
