A few promotions to the bundesliga on his CV but given he’s never managed outside Germany it’s a gamble. Fingers crossed he gets them sorted out.
Imagine your first game in charge been a Sheffield Derby

Wonder how many will take it up, can’t say it’s something I’ve seen a club do before.
Don't fancy us to get our first win here, Wednesday night was an improvement in performance but again it was something we saw over and over again last season, concede early and then dominate but fail to make it count. Everything i have seen from us so far ths season suggests we've done nothing...
Not sure what to think about this game, thought Sunderland would struggle this season but they picked up a great 3 points yesterday away at Norwich. We still haven't got going yet this season and with Hutchinson and Loovens both getting injured at the weekend we look extremely weak defensively...
First home league game of the season at Hillsborough and is one we have to be looking at winning. We were piss poor last week at Preston but reacted well midweek in the cup. Think we may see at least one of Hooper/Fletcher starting in place of Rhodes. Press release this week suggests Forestieri...
Well a game that could have had so much riding on it will be an absolute dead rubber thanks to Leeds bottling it. Would expect both sides to field slightly weakened teams to protect their players for the play offs, Line up is a guess, a few of the first team to be rested and maybe a bit of a run...
not seen a thread for this yet, with it been our 150th anniversary I'd imagine we might see something different from us. This is our 3rd kit for next season.
Whenever we start to get wildly optimistic we seem to end up coming back down with a bump. Tonight we would expect to win and thats when we've come unstuck this year. Burton will be tougher than Norwich on Saturday, they're fighting for points and will most likely stick everyone behind the ball...
MASSIVE game, both sides will be well up for this, from what i hear the ground is all but sold out and the winner takes the advantage in the race to secure a play off place!.
1-1 Forestieri
Big opportunity here for us with this been our game in hand on teams around us, we can go 10 clear of Norwich and above Leeds ahead of our game with them this weekend. Got to keep our recent good form going and cement our place in the top 6.
2-0 Wednesday (Rhodes, Hutchinson)
Another home game following Friday nights win, expect we'll rotate the full backs and put Palmer and Pudil back in for this one, other than that i would think the side will be the same with Hooper and Lees not fit enough yet. Expect 3 points but nothings ever guaranteed
2-0 Rhodes, Wallace
be a very difficult one this one, they'll be wanting to do the double to get revenge for the play offs last season, also with them losing last week they'll be looking to bounce straight back. We've tended to perform better against the better sides so I'd rule nothing out but I'd snatch your...
Obviously an extremely tough game but it'll be just like us to go up there and put on a show after 2 dismal displays against Barnsley and Rotherham, no shelvey for them is a big boost for us, still I'll go for a 1-1 draw, forestieri for us!
Still a few injuries to contend with for ourselves but even so we ought to be beating Rotherham, that said we NEVER beat Rotherham at Hillsborough so i have no idea how this will go. Surely we have to beat them this year don't we?
Looks for all the world like a home banker, but there's always that Mick Mcarthy element and it's not often we beat his sides.
That said one day soon we're going to put all of them chances away we're creating in games and somebody is going to be on the wrong side of a hiding, i've got a sneaky...
For all the bad press he seems to get I thought I'd share this to show that for all his on field antics, he's not a bad lad really!
Well done fernando

We'll be looking to bounce back from our defeat midweek, a defeat that we could see coming a mile off. We carried on where we left off losing to the teams you expect to be relegation fodder at their place.
I expect us to get back to winning ways tomorrow especially with the way Leeds have...
Good to get the football back, can't wait for Sunday. See it as an ideal time to play Villa, they haven't really brought many in and if their squad last season is anything to go on i'd fancy us to win it. We've had a pretty impressive pre-season and playing some lovely football along the way...
Obviously delighted to be here, absolutely over the moon, far better than anything I expected this season and it's a fantastic achievement from us. Hull on the other hand would have expected this as a minimum, all the pressure is on them in this final. Obviously hopeful we do the business but...
