Was just saying that to a mate - he's done things like that before in pressure games but he's still only 21 or 22 so he'll learn with experience in big games. His plusses deffo outweigh the negs.

Utterly bizarre start from Birmingham who looked like they were still in the changing rooms. Marriott had way too much room in the box. The delivery from the corner was great, but it was shambolic set-piece defending.

For Birmingham first goal Wrexham GK should really be doing better for me, probably the only time I agreed with the useless guys on the commo.

Now Birmingham lead after taking control of the game, you can see it’s not quite clicked for them properly yet but they will pick up results regardless.

This is what I expected when I seen your line-up, is that roughly what it’s been like so far this season? Just looked lacking for the money you’ve spent, but no matter how many you concede tonight it’s been a really good start.

Honestly Parkinson, just play Brunt, he’ll be brilliant and become your best defender, he is really, really good. Not even on the bench? It’s like you’ve brought him so others cannot have him.

Frustrating that we have been so flat but I'm not sure if we've just been poor or Birmingham just very good. Since the equaliser they've been pretty impressive. They are a level better than anyone else I've seen in this division.

Aim still top 10 for me, need another few windows yet until we're completing at the top. Likes of Mendy on the bench struggled in league 2.

Didn't expect anything tonight tbh, and really didn't deserve owt on that showing, but brum will win the league VERY early-on.

That was a tough watch. Birmingham light years ahead at this level, could see them romping the title. That thick centre half getting himself sent off was ridiculous carry on, would be fuming as their manager seeing that. We lost the plot a bit as well, players not used to losing like that and getting the runaround.

We probably aren't going to change our back 3 just yet and nor should we, they've played out of their skins for ages now going back to last season. 4 clean sheets in 5 before tonight but we were never going to keep one there no matter who played.

Arthur seems to drop these ricks only in TV games. We're top of the table and had 3 very tough away games already, hard to find too much fault after that. A lot of teams will get hammered there up against that quality.

Class game to watch, both sides are going to be up there, probably a first sign for the wrexham circus what they’re up against if they want to move onto the next level.

Once again the wrexham keeper was poor, maybe i just catch the bad games, either way as a spectacle it was brilliant for 3rd division football with how both applied themselves.

I’d expect mansfield to get 0 points out of 12 against those 2, anything else is a bonus.
