With a new day, you all once again lose 10 hunger and thirst... and now, hunger and thirst is really starting to take its toll. Most of you are currently experiences loses in fighting skill.

The deadline for this game day will be 10am on Monday morning. So plenty of time for this one.

Natch tries to hunt his rabbit... and, somewhat hilariously, actually manages to take quite a beating from it and lose 1hp.

Veggie tries to hunt a viper, something two people have tried so far and failed... and he is successful!

SUTSS tries to hunt his deer... and is successful!

Holy shit! The volcano in N1 has erupted! Lava spews out all around it, and all of the squares next to it become covered in lava! Do not step on these spots!

The following squares are affected:
M0 - an alarm system was set up there, it is destroyed!
M1 - a poor pig was calling this square home... he's become some extra crispy bacon.
M2 - Oh no! Posh Hammer was in M2! He takes 1hp of damage due to lava, and will take 1hp of damage each day he stays there. Seeing as he's not even looked in his PM since tuesday though, I'm going to assume he won't be getting out of this one any time soon.
N0
N2 - a can of peas and a bottle of whiskey are destroyed here.
O0
O1 - A pigeon is killed.
O2 - A can of spaghetti is destroyed.

These squares are now hot zones. Entering them will result in losing HP.

Meanwhile, a flaming piece of debris is making its way over to A0... With all those trees around, I'd get out of there...

Claymore (10, can be left on a spot when you leave. Next person to land there takes 1hp damage)

Posh Hammer loses another 1hp while sitting in lava. At least he's warm.

Spear (5, 50, none)

MagpieBee (2/3hp) finds....
Cardsfan (6/5hp)!
AW SHIT SON, we've got another fight on our hands here! A hungry, thirsty Magpiebee looks a little outmatched here... and he is. Cardsfan makes quick work of chasing Magpiebee off and breaks his nose in the process.

Paul Haddock... would you believe it, falls into yet another pit! Once again, Haddock cannot move for a day.

Veggie legs finds
Pigeon (2BR, +30 food, 10) to hunt! But also... sets off an alarm! It's coming from B8!

Harv finds:
Dog (6BR, +60 food, 40) one of those fuck off beast dogs to hunt.

The last time I was on here prior to 1FF dying, I'd actually made a post in here and made an edit to the OP... and the forum died while I was doing them. The post is clearly not here, so I'm doubting that whatever I put in the OP was saved either. I waited for about half an hour for it to try to sort itself out, but had to go to work in the end so had to just close the window and hope for the best... though I'm quite sure it's not there. And seeing as it's been two days since that happened, I have absolutely no recollection of what I actually updated in the OP.

So... I could do with you guys letting me know if anything seems off with your stats and what not.

Luckily, I hadn't set a deadline which is obviously for the best seeing as the sites been dead. And, of course, I've had two days off while the sites been dead where I could have really got through a decent amount of this. Though now that we seem to be back up I guess it's time to set a deadline... going to set it as 7pm tomorrow (thursday) so we've got about 24 hours.

Though actually, it seems that the post about that ember is gone. But yeah, it flew to A0... and caught fire to the trees! There is a fire in the arena, and it looks as if it's spreading...

The wind is blowing south. I wouldn't recommend being south of that fire right now...

Well, technically, the deadline is still coming up. However, I'm going to take a risk here and do the moves now, seeing as I'm here, to save me sitting around doing nothing for half an hour. So bare in mind... I'm going to say who has what right now, but if somebody sends a late movement in and there happens to be a clash in a square for a fight, that item will be removed from you unless you win the fight.

So here goes...

Ciderhead walks onto his square, and all seems well... and then... KABLAMOOO!!! Oh dear! It appears that Cardsfan carelessly left a claymore on this square! How rude. Ciderhead takes 1hp of damage. Potentially a big move there, as that's the second favourite to win this thing taking damage from another of the people who are considered more than capable of winning this thing!

Stagat finds:
A Rhinosaurus (15BR, +120 food, 100) to hunt! He said he wanted to find a "small dog". This is a little bit bigger than that...

LR finds:
A Deer (2BR, +70 food, 50) to hunt!

Cardsfan finds:
3 Arrows (6, 1, Must be combined with a bow/crossbow)

Natch finds:
A Pig (2BR, +80 food, 50) to hunt!

Hodge finds:
Bow (0,60, Must be combined with Arrows). And holy shit, he actually has an arrow as well to use it!

To use a bow/crossbow with arrows:

When you enter a fight, you will automatically use the arrows to defend yourself.
When hunting, by default, you will not use the arrow unless you state that you wish to do so in the PM.

Bare in mind, 20 minutes remain... so any of this could yet change should I get any late PM's. But it'd be unlikely I'd say...

Also, some big news...

BOOM!

A cannon fires, signalling the first death of The Hunger Games!

After that volcano erupted, Posh Hammer was caught in the lava... and after 3 days standing around in it without bothering to move, Posh Hammer has been burned to a crisp... and killed! Perhaps he feared what was to come in the arena, so was frozen in terror. Or maybe he just thought that this'd be a better way to go. Which would be silly, as I can't think of many more painful ways to go than spending 3 days being slowly killed by scorching hot lava. Regardless, he is dead.

Posh Hammer, of District 3, was deemed by the game makers to be one of two people who were the most likely to be killed off first... they seem to have hit a home run with this. Roversfan was the other they thought may be the first to go... will he surprise the game makers and keep on surviving, or will the next cannon be for him?

Posh Hammer was holding a Small Flask. Unfortunately, this item is melted in the lava and cannot be retrieved.

Wait, was the forum not actually dead all weekend? Or did it just happen to be fucked any time I tried to log on? I haven't been here since Thursday, but I can assure you that it was not through lack of trying

But yes, so long as 1FF can actually fucking stay alive, this is still happening, absolutely.

But yeah, I realised that I never set a deadline before 1FF died (?), which was possibly a good thing because if anybody was stuck in the same boat as me, they had to suffer with the outside world for far too long as well and couldn't get on here. But yeah, I'm fucking working all day tomorrow (OF COURSE I FUCKING AM BECAUSE THIS IS HOW THIS KIND OF SHIT WORKS) so I will set the deadline as 11am on Wednesday.
