St Blazey 0- 9 PAFC Jervis x3, Slew x2, Goodwillie x2, Spencer and Purrington. Overall a good game for fitness, they didn't have a shot though. Very poor side.

We won 4 - 0 against a team we beat 7 - 0 last year .......off to a bad start ....if winning 4 - 0 away from home is bad

Lewis Collins from Reading? He's a Grimsby local, no idea if he's any good.

Thanks for listening.
Dunno, he was listed on the team sheet as Louis Collins but couldn't find any info, whereas obviously Lewis Collins turns up way more results. I'd imagine it'll be our guys messing up his first name.

Beat local Rymans league side, East Grinstead 2-9. I actually live about equi-distance between the two grounds so a nice little jaunt away. Gulf in class means the result means little but it was pleasing how we tried to play. Playing through the thirds I think the latest buzz words are (passing to one another instead of launching balls to the front men via the moon).

Lewis Young hat-trick. His first goals for us. He is nominally a winger who has been here for two whole seasons now. His first goals!

Quite a few trialists played. I put their names on the transfer rumours thread if your interested...Nah, didn't think so.

'Through the thirds ' well done for introducing that phrase to the masses on here , 'equi - distant ' hasn't gone unnoticed either !

First team have been drafted in to play Carlton Town tonight, likely a reaction to them giving the mighty Mansfield a scare at the weekend.

First team is pretty much all present in some capacity except Loach, McLeod, Thompson, Milsom (who probably injured himself lying next to a pool) and O'Connor.

Beat Dorchester 1-0 (Jamar Loza), played one half with contracted players and one trialist. Second half was pretty much all trialists.

4-1 win away at Needham Market thanks to a Sammie Szmodics hat-trick. Think he will have a big season this year. Missed most of last season with injury, but looks set to be given the opportunity to take Moncur's place in the side and I think he'll live up to it.

We're away at Warrington tonight.

Their manager has been quoted as saying. "This club has a history of beating teams like Exeter. Friendly or not, make no mistake about it, we will beat Carlisle United tonight."

Adams is also sending the first team to Bovey Tracey tonight. Was meant to be a development side but he's obviously changed his mind.

Maybe he wants them to visit the Marble Museum as a team bonding exercise?

We beat Three Bridges 0-6 last night. Ryman league side who are actually in Crawley. I have to go past their ground to get to ours and often do watch games there.

Collins got two. Oyebanjo scored a screamer but it didn't do him any good as it has been announced we will not be signing him.

All the goals scored in the first half but again the standard of the opposition means it's a guess to how good we were.

They had a player sent off. Didn't see what caused it but there was a strong aerial challenge a couple of minutes before where our centre back took out one of theirs and one of ours. The sort of thing the crowd shouts 'good header' to on a match day. Not raised arms or anything like that. He could have taken umbrage to that I suppose but he had totally lost it, held back by four or five players.

Just thought I'd let you all fine folks know that we're presently in Germany and will take on a proper side tonight, KFC Uerdingen. We don't go for PSF's against Sunday League Pub sides in some god forsaken rundown ground, no sir. This is the ground we'll be playing at later on. Majestic -

We beat KFC Uerdingen 4-2 with Joe Pigott scoring twice in the first half and Luke Berry and George maris scoring in the second half.

We're playing SG Wattenscheid who are in a higher league (I think) on Saturday so that should be a bit of a bigger challenge.

Is there anyone who made the journey to Germany who can say any more? (Any word on the who the trialists were?)
