Finally decided to get some fixtures. A couple of games in Ireland and Peterborough away so far. Usually a prem/decent team at home the week before the first game - yet to be confirmed.

We're playing La Liga side Grenada in La Manga on July 20th. Not bad.

Looks like getting a friendly against Liverpool on a weekend was a very smart move financially. They've sold out the East Stand (over 8k) and we've now opened the usual away end for them. So potentially over 13k Liverpool fans alone in the ground. Their fans are quite literally paying for us to take Bogdan off of their hands. I can imagine it being a lot like the Community Shield against Utd on a smaller scale. Thousands of plastic scousers and schoolkids attending their first ever Liverpool game.

The club have today announced a friendly against Man Utd on Saturday 17th. Jose's first game in charge. So that weekend now consists of Man Utd on Saturday and Liverpool on Sunday. A big boost for the club financially, most likely that'll be two 15-20k gates back to back.

Both off them will probably bring 2 full stands

Confirmed that we're going all the way to Netherlands to play a Saudi Arabian side.. Al-Taawoun FC.

Means our game away at Lincoln will now be for the youth side.

We beat Guiseley last night 1-0.

Scannell scored, we hit bar twice and post once - dominating possession 80% - 20%.

I don't read anything into these sort of things, but good to start with a win.

Lad year above me at school and who used to play in me and my mates' 6 a side team, scored against Forest today on his debut for Ilkeston after his move from Stocksbridge.

Forest are therefore shit.

I love how Yakubu is still getting away with claiming that he's about 15yrs younger than he actually is.

0-0 draw against SC Braga tonight behind closed doors. No surprise really, Grigg didn't play.

2 trialists stared against Hengrove, 4-0 up at half time- all assisted by Freeman. Trialist goalkeeper is called Ivan and from Bayern Munich. Could be Ivan Lučić?
Rumours the other Trialist was Grabban- edit: not Grabban, Samuel Armenteros, Swedish striker playing in Azerbaijan

7-0 FT. Pack, Flint, Brownhill, Agard, Tomlin (2) and Johnny Smith

Tomlin came on and scored two goals in eight minutes, one from 25 yards and one from 30, both into the top corner...
