we lost 14 points from winning positions in the 1st 8 games of last season and were in the bottom 4 after 9 matches... it's just a matter of getting your act together quicker....
Its something that crept back in, two of the last 3 saw 4 dropped and in the end cost us a spot in the top 7 but it’s a fault and one we need to rectify. That said Notts Co and Mansfield shown that being a favourite doesn’t always translate on the field when the time comes.

Yes really. But that's only if you ask me right now. The new season's a long way off and there's still plenty of time left for me to change my mind.

Here are some of my worries about next season.

1. We have an inexperienced manager in Mark Bonner and I fear for us if we get off to a poor start. And we've had quite a few of those since winning promotion back to the FL.

2. Taylor and Darling will (in all likelihood) be the two CB's. I've never been a fan of Taylor's and IMO he's no better than your average conference CB. And he still can't pass the ball after I don't know how many years in the game. And another thing about the back four - I pray to god that Bonner doesn't give the LB slot to Dunk.

3. As yet, I'm not sold on either of the two goalies at the club.

4. Finally, and this is my biggest concern, I hope that any loan signings we make are on a par with the ones we had this year. Smith, El Mizouni and Carruthers were all quality players for this level and we are going to miss them. A lot.

Inexperienced manager is all it takes, think about the squad we had and what Dempster did to it. Thank god for Maynard.

I take all your points and agree with most of them. I would have binned Taylor and O'Neil offer but given Dunk another year because he's versatile and a good impact player. He also played well from Jan onwards.

Agree on the Keepers - they are a worry. Both no.2's in my opinion.

I was not a fan on Bonner taking over but I think he got the group together and the performances/points tally improved but that was done without Smith, Carruthers and El Mizouni as they were all injured so I can't agree on point 4.

The first two signings are encouraging and everyone in the game has high hopes for Bonner as a manager but you're right, he must get a good start.

Cant be bothered will a full table but possibly
Bradford champions, FGR and Notts County to go up.
Vale, Bolton, Mansfield and Salford for the playoffs
Stevenage and Morecambe to go down. We will be 15th

would like to say we will be meeting next season......but we both know thats not happening

Without Doyle and Yates you are coming straight back down as we pass you the opposite way

Best wait and see what version of Doyle you’ve signed and who we sign as replacements - seems sensible.

Doyle will get the goals as Darcy is simply head and shoulders better than Yates so he will certainly have the chances.

Who the hell is Darcy?

Since Doyle left Chesterfield Wellens is the ONLY manager to get him scoring. Doubt your non league fella will manage it.

Well, that’s a given. Next season you’re in the basement and we’re in L1.

Seems like the sort of guy who matches with a girl on tinder and by the time she picks up her phone to look at the chat he's already sent 12 dick-picks, then called her a whore for not replying and told her to go fuck herself.

For he is a most disagreeable, horrid man, not at all worth pleasing. So high and so conceited that there was no enduring him! He walked here, and he walked there, fancying himself so very great! Not handsome enough to dance with! I wish you had been there, my dear, to have given him one of your set-downs. I quite detest the man.

Apparently

Vale top 3.
Mansfield and Exeter bottling it again.
Barrow stay up relatively comfortably.
Carlisle fans to predict relegation every week of the fucking season.
Morecambe to shithouse survival again.

Unsure on the rest, like.

Just be grateful Halifax got knocked out of the play-offs...
I get you but I would have preferred this :bdick:like every five minutes than Boreham fcuking Wood making it through to the semis, keeping alive their dreams of making it to L2 :ffs:
