I’m not a fan but the general opinion is it’s well liked, loses the point of having a ‘different’ home kit if the alternative is just the one they would’ve brought out anyway.

I love it actually but cannot get my head around why we released it as the away kit

Bradford having a season with white as a home kit and a season without Stuart McCall as manager is strange, feels like a different club.

Our away one is being revealed tomorrow. No idea unlike usual seasons on colour or style.

We were promoted in 1982 and 1985 wearing white, so hopefully it proves lucky

Really like the Bradford kits but I thought they would have had white for the away

As I understand it, there seems to be a constant desire for nostalgia amongst football teams so Bradford's white home kit is a nod to some part of their history. 2 smart kits nonetheless, but I've always had a soft spot for the colours Bradford play in for some reason.

That Bradford City away kit was Tranmere Rovers original kit i think.

I would guess it’s going to be all gold or something like that. If we’re keeping the black kit as the third one then this probably won’t have any black in this one.

Possibly although the white shorts on the home kit may indicate black on the away shorts as no reason to change the standard colours to the cursed all white otherwise…

Interesting to see what they come

Certanly bit of nostalgia going on with kit design this season so far... understandably I guess as nostalgic kits always sell well and the clubs will no doubt have conveyed to the kit manufacturers that if there ever were a season to try and pump the nostalgia well dry this would be it.

ourselves and Oldham are both wearing kits inspired by top-flight seasons, Bradford seem to play the white top card every time they smell a shot at promotion, Barrow wearing a kit inspired by more tin-pot years. A little bit of looking to create a new sense of nostalgia too with Walsall going all out on the 'we wear red, white AND GREEN now don't y'know'. FGR could really have cashed in by going with a black and white kit but I suppose they do that for the away kit anyway and it's not as if they need the cash.

Are Oldham having a kit sponsor this season? As nice as that kit looks we must hold judgement until we see what they're actually playing in as the sponsor has the potential to ruin it. Was Paddy Power's 'unsponsoring football' thing just a one-season stunt?

I like it in gold as an away kit, still not sold on the all white home version.

We've gone bloody nostalgic as well. We could have had a lovely simple red and white pinstripe number but have put bloody badges into the pattern. This blurb explains why.

We did actually do that a few years back, for our 125th anniversary. Was pretty popular. Only time you're likely to see the Ecotricity branding combined with our traditional colours.

Our shirt includes a nod to the 'Northamptonshire Brogue' and our shoemaking past (if you didn't already know)

Great as always from Hummel.

And our away kit. This is almost certainly going to be marmite but I personally love it.

Marmite is a good description, that's absolutely horrendous.
