Shocking, for the 4th game running against Alfreton we've ended up with a player in hospital who is now out for the rest of the season.

Surprisingly easy win today and to be honest but for their keeper it could and probably should have been a far bigger win. I quite like Blyth as a club so a bit of a shame to see them as bad as that.

Signed Elliott Whitehouse on loan from Scunthorpe in the week and he was a cut above, surprised we've managed to get him as a lot of their fans seem to think he should be starting for them. Oh well, our gain.

Curzon have given themselves the slimmest of chances of a play offs winning the one game they had to in order to stay in it yesterday. Now six points behind but with a game in hand, but that game is vs the Champions in waiting so not a given.

Although cannot see much of this season due to new born, I find this season even more infuriating than last year.

Last year we were first half of season one of the best sides then imploded which was annoying but happens, players and manager left.

This year is annoying because the team quality is there but they f*cakes it up big time vs some very poor sides in recent weeks, outplayed by Kettering, leamington and Banbury……all poor out of form sides.

Even taking 4 points from what really should be 9 points there would see us in key position going into last run but we flogged them.

Only reaso we are involved is them sides 4th-7th are flogging it even worse than we are, am sure one of Chorley, Scarborough or Darlington will drop out it is just who replaces them.

Am putting my money on Buxton, I can see us beating Flyde but also see us losing to Bradford

Kettering are masters of the dull 0-0. I've seen 3 of them in the 4 Town games I've seen this year - the other was a 1-0 (penalty) victory over King's Lynn!

Another 0-0 for the Poppies yesterday, although a decent point against Darlington

I expect we can beat your lot, we raise our game.

But it’s totally worthless if then lose to Bradford, Blyth and Boston.

Side topic.. What's the chances of Chester letting Wyll Stanway leave? Been very impressed with him, far better than the million pound loanee we had from Liverpool.

We have a lone keeper from Everton who is fractionally better than Wyll, but he will move on to better things next season, I believe we have an option for another year on Wyll’s contract so we will have to see how that plays out.

Just when you are sure Blyth are relegated and Fylde are Champions in comes that ridiculous score line.

Big win for Blyth and there was no sign of it coming when we went there on Saturday.

Means nothing to Fylde, just a bit funny on the night. Haughton's flirted with getting sent off for diving all season.

Utterly bizarre result, maybe Fylde played their academy side? Hopefully they`ll do the same on Saturday

22-year old centre back Matty Williams signs contract extension for 2023/24. Major coup for us . Was expecting him to move upwards. Lets hope he's playing in the NL next season.

I did once over have a lot of respect for Nick Haughton. But after seeing him the other week against us, jesus christ prancing about saying look at me with not a hair out of place.

Only have to nudge him he was falling over.

Bradford at home today for Curzon and can go for once.

Type of game we flog and these games will cost us the play off spot they still believe they can grab, my own view is it ended when we got zero points from 3 easy games.

Slim chance due to 5th to 7th being out of form but we need another winning run to have a chance.

Still we are safe now and have nothing to lose just going for it.

Dreadful first half between two poor sides so far, couple of good chances for both sides but neither side in control.

Should be a good second half really, BPA must win other results are not good enough anymore and with them play off sides flogging it so far Curzon must win today so both should go for it

Another fabulous away result for us again today but 1-2 massively flattered Darlo as it was far more comfortable than that.

Huge win at Southport, Sion Spence getting the late goal after missing five months of the season due to injury.

A just about deserved win for you guys. Awful game, but you got your shots on target whereas we didn't. That our goalkeeper got MOTM in a 1-0 defeat says how poor we were outfield.

Great win for us that, absolutely have to have eyes on second spot now especially after the developments at King’s Lynn today. If we can get there it ensures any/every possible play-off game would be at home.

Never looked in danger of losing, nothing flashy about it, just solid, organised and a well deserved job done. Felt like we were better value than the score suggests though.

No idea how we have Whitehouse, Scunthorpe are bonkers and their fans are going a bit nuts about letting us have him.

That was bloody shocking, horrible game of football to watch, typical having been unable to go for a while I get that crap.

BPA looked like a team going down and curzon just looked an uninterested sloppy mess, both got execactly what they deserved yesterday which was a result that gave them absolutely bugger all good for their season.

Shocked at BPA who just
Played for a draw all game………your going down maybe like try and win!!!

Curzon just looked half hearted until about 20 minutes to go but their forward players were so poor yersterday nothing stuck and when getting ball options and choices were wrong, with Buxton, Alfreton and Gloucester all winning they can finally
Kiss that 7th spot goodbye and deservedly so.

Frightening thing is they have given Lakeland a contract extension to carry on being bland.

Certainly going to be tight for that 2nd spot, 5 points (+ better goal difference) with 5 games to go would normally be comfortable but with the news re Tommy, who knows? With 3 of those games at home I think we will do enough to get there but what sort of state we are for the playoffs themselves who knows

Hadn't looked much lower than 3rd for a while but the race for those midweek playoff spots is looking a lot tighter, such a strange season where no-one seems to be able to sustain any sort of form

Absolutely. The only period where we were under a little pressure was the 4 added on minutes.

Totally agree took the words right out of my mouth.

We actually attacked and came at yous in added time. I was that bored didn't even celebrate the goal, just wanted to go home it was absolutely shite on our behalf.

How on earth we are still in 5th after our recent performances.

I bet it felt like a midweek training session for your lads.

Quite frankly that was a walk in the park and a thoroughly deserved win.

Good luck for the rest of the season!
