Goodbye guys, its been nice know you.
Could have been worse, Brackley could have relegated you Friday on Wilkin`s SJP return. Would have meant scoring goals though, which is still proving a tad challenging. Nice day in the sun ahead, two sides who can`t score. You`re down, we`re trying hard to exit the playoff spots. Should be a cracker!

It seems to have just been a constant decline at Telford for past 7-8 years

Good ground and strong fanbase for this level but just seems a bad team year after year.

Was always going to catch up in the end.

Haha curzon still building Friday as if they have a chance.

They have no chance, when they can it beat Bradford at home, nor even muster much effort, after terrible displays vs leamington, Kettering and Bamford I’m sorry but you cannot think your getting top 7 on that.

Buxton and Gloucester have a chance they are in fine form, Curzon Now just looking to get as high as can

"Kevin Wilkin`s red and white army", yes, today, sung by the locals as the Brackley season goes from bad to worse. Can`t have been pleasant for Johnson to hear. My own view was that Wilkin`s time was probably up back in September. But this performance has been coming, and the club are probably back full circle to the shocking Worksop FA cup defeat in the autumn which led to Wilkin`s sacking. Johnson`s interviews sound like a guy who has run out of ideas. And this from a team that went 17 unbeaten when he took over. Now it`s 3 wins from 15, relegation form. They may scrape into the playoffs but even that now looks doubtful, but a summer rebuild beckons. No coherence, no structure, no energy, one goal (a pen) against a side who were relegated this week. Fair play to AFC, they deserved the win, played much the better stuff, playing like that I have no idea why they ended up going down.

Wilkin would have enjoyed the day, none of the locals did.

Another deserved defeat for us, and another game where I can't remember us having a shot on target. Lots of balls into the box though, unfortunately we're just so easy to defend against.

Next up for us is Chester at home followed by a trip to King's Lynn. I suspect we'll be a lot closer to the relegation zone after these games.

Play off battle has become ridiculous because Darlo, Chorley and Scarborough have all suddenly become average at best probably relegation form in recent weeks.

And is just a case of can any of the better in form sides below them keep it going enough to overtake.

Flat one today against an awkward Chorley (always are) with very few chances. 0-0 written all over it really, they were quite good first half but seemed to get tired later on.

Fantastic crowd of 3,487, club seems to have been growing at a good rate this season. Seem to be making good strides nowadays. Would be good to get a four figure away following on Monday, not far off apparently on the pre sales so far.

A pity it took us best part of 30 games to look anything other than abysmal or we'd be up by now.
I'd lump on the two promoted sides going straight back down next season
Sadly we won't be able to keep Billy chadwick, virtually a cheat code at this level.

We went ahead within minutes and dominated most of the first half but didn't have a killer touch in front of goal, Banbury's goal was completely against the run of play. Second half Banbury played very deep and we struggled to break them down, felt Gyasi and Hopper should have been introduced. However, Dada tripped his man not long after already receiving a yellow from the whistle happy ref and off he went. Felt we'd probably go on to lose it but Banbury seemed happy for the draw. We almost nicked it in the final minutes but couldn't put it in. Two points ultimately dropped. Have to beat Telford Monday

So, that chant was Johnson`s death knell. Gone, after six months in charge. Bizarre, those 17 unbeaten, then the dreadful run since Feb 4th. Gaz Dean in charge... why not? he`s out injured until season end.

It is looking more likely the unthinkable may happen and Boston get relegated having been a strong promotion favourite in summer…….what is going wrong there.

Big 2 weeks for Curzon now, couple of weeks ago I had us a cert for bottom 4, now we are 8 points off the play offs with 2 games in hand and overall a reasonably easier on paper fixture list. Next 4 games we could win on paper and would close gap to 1-2 points……..but usually these are the games we flog.

A pity it took us best part of 30 games to look anything other than abysmal or we'd be up by now.

When BigDave wrote his comment re: Boston in February, it was at a time when I was getting quite worried it was fast becoming a certainty. But Josh's comment comes on the back of a fantastic - but hardly expected - turnaround

As I was trying to type before hitting the wrong button - though formatting doesn't seem to want to work!!

First 29 games: Played 29 Won 7 Drew 6 Lost 16 GF 41 GA 52 Points 27

Last 13 games: Played 13 Won 7 Drew 4 Lost 2 GF 21 GA 9 Points 25

Still not mathematically safe, but hopefully just a couple more points or so needed. The next couple of games, Buxton (a) tomorrow and AFC Fylde (H) next Saturday, have a bit of extra spice added to them as we come up against our 2nd last (Craig Elliott) and 3rd last (Adam Murray) managers.

weird live game choice I’d certainly gone with either Chorley vs Scarborough or Farsley vs Blyth, Bradford are gone so makes it not as huge.

A lot of big games today

They picked them a while back didn't they? Certainly remember seeing Ebbsfleet were going to be shown around a month ago. At the time probably seemed a good choice.

Big game for Chorley today, I guess 3 points is a must if we are to have a chance of a Play Off spot. On a much brighter note it is anticipated the club will have new Owners in the next couple of weeks, think these may be exciting times for the Magpies and their fans.

Heck of a play off battle now, anyone from Scarborough down to curzon has a chance at 3 play off spots.

Alfreton and Curzon are that additional throw of the dice due to having two games in hand.

Realistically with Blyth away, Darlo away and then a last day double header of Fylde and Kings Lynn if Curzon somehow got in they’d deserve it.

I discounted kiddy based on them needing to claw back 4 points, overcome 4-5 sides and only have 3 games left…..it’s really a tall tall ask.

Curzon have same points but 5
Games to play for

Oh I agree but 3 wins on the bounce and we play Telford, Southport and Kettering. If we get 9 points from that there's a slim chance

Wasn't overly confident today heading to Telford, but we scored in what I assume was the quickest goal in the League this season? (Around 30 seconds)

We then never looked back and were under no trouble whatsoever. Sion Spence scored a hat trick from midfield and he's like a massive new signing since returning from injury. He could be crucial. JJ Hooper also got his first goal for us after coming on as a sub. Next Saturday is home to Alfreton. Huge

Attendance given as 900 and something. Be surprised if there was actually 600 there
