Another shite ref. Sent off Jack Doyle early on for a tackle with was a foul and should have been a booking, and must have been the only person in the ground who thought it was a red card.

As for the rest of the game, they scored a belter, then we scored an even better goal, then they outdid us again with a piece of brilliance from Willoughby who injured himself in the process. We gave as good as they despite being a man down against 12 men, but as per usual out final ball into the box let us down.

Credit to Chester for bringing over 1300 fans. That's one hell of a turn-out and no doubt helps us financially too.

The Ref, Stuart Morland, is worst in the league and that’s saying something. He’s already cost us this season but we definitely got one back from him there. Stupid challenge from Doyle but it was a yellow.

We were poor and just did enough with a few pieces of individual brilliance. We’re pretty much locked in for third with very little chance of moving up or down places, hopefully Willoughby and Williams are ok but realistically they’ve got a few weeks in hand to get fit whilst we play out three dead rubbers.

Williams injury didn't look too bad, he got up and held his left shoulder, but he pushed himself up off the ground using that arm when he got up. Willoughby was obviously hobbling. Looks like we've lost Jordan Archer for the season too today. All just casualties of what was a fairly contested game.

After a super start and a good first half which saw us lead 2-1 at the break we just didnt turn up for the second half and got what we deserved! But for Urwin in goal it could have been 5 or 6!
As I initially thought early in the season mid table mediocrity beckons, oh well let's just hope the new Owners turn up very soon and make some changes as we need a fresh start.

Without Jack Lambert we have no creativity at all, and confidence has evaporated. The fact we are still in a play off place says much about the rest of the division.

Match officials on Monday against Bradford PA. I think they were the worst I've ever seen all season.

Make a note of a referee called (Richard Holmes) he made one hell of a mistake in time added on that probably cost us three points.

Not sure whether he got out of the ground in one piece?

They picked them a while back didn't they? Certainly remember seeing Ebbsfleet were going to be shown around a month ago. At the time probably seemed a good choice.

I totally agree they were officially announced 10th March!

They'll have been suitable choices for the clubs involved.

Some interesting fixtures tomorrow.
Boston will be tricky opposition for a Fylde team that are showing some cracks under the pressure. Whilst Kings Lynn have a more favourable game at home to Southport.

Playoff hopefuls Gloucester v Alfreton and Scarborough v Buxton clash.

As for us. They've been must win for a while now. But things really are must win vs Brackley. Wouldn't surprise me if the loser didn't make the playoffs based on both of our form over the last few months. Our return vs teams at the bottom of the table has been dire since January and it's meant we probably need atleast 7 points maybe 9 from our last 4 to make the playoffs. I'll be at Brackley for better or worse.

Cheers, good to see other fan owned clubs like Chester and Scarborough doing well and bring a good followings to BM. Remember plenty of good matches in the League 2 days. Was at the 4-4 at the Diva all those years ago.

Think you'll be a big threat to whoever out of Fylde and Kings Lynn doesn't win the league. In reality since the new year you three teams have looks a step above everyone else.

Just hope we can join you in the playoffs for a game or two.

Time for Curzon to stand up and be counted and give themselves a chance by finally delivering against one of the poor sides in the league.

Curzon really should be now top four and cruising to play offs but for the harsh fact when it comes to one of the crap sides down in the bottom 4-5 who lose majority of weeks Curzon don’t even turn up for the game, cannot score or create chances and most times lose………don’t know why but am assuming curzon suit playing sides who won’t sit back for a point.

Of course for Blyth this is as big a game and draw hurts both so should be a good one on paper

He’s out today so it reminded me to ask.

What is the Chester fans view of Curzon turning Waring into a first team regular centre back?

11th but somehow 3 points off 5th. Still don't think we'll do it but we've not given up yet.

He played there for us once in a friendly at Nantwich and looked quite good actually.

His lack of pace ment he didn’t play regularly for us so I guess it’s worth a try as long as he’s got somebody quick alongside him.

Farsley will be kicking themselves about that, two up with a man advantage. They were terrible but should still win from that position. As it goes we were improved with ten and should have won.

Downside is that Kev Roberts stupidly got sent off and will now miss the Play-Off Semi-final and Thomas limped off with what looked like a hammy. Six changes today and would expect more next week at Kettering.

We were all over Alfreton for a lot of the game but failed to make it count. They had one proper shot and scored from it. Looked like the ref ruled out their equaliser, but then gave it anyway. Need to see it again to understand wtf happened. But basically Alfreton played the way they always do, lump it up and hope for the best. Surely they can't steal a play off place playing that kind of dog shit

Lots of changes for us yesterday two were forced due to injuries but the other four were to give squad players a run out, we had two centre backs who had not played together before and that showed as we went two down both free headers from corners. We then had Roberts sent of for a high boot which I have no complaints about but their lad who had previously been booked for diving made the most of it until the card came out then he miraculously recovered, we pulled one back then battered them for the next 20 minutes which could have ended with us scoring 4 goals but we had to make do with levelling at 2-2. The last twenty was more end to end but we still managed to make the better chances even with 10 men but finished a point apiece in a hard thought encounter.

Probably would have helped to have somebody in the dug out - awful discipline and lack of leadership from Armstrong and your no 2. Coincided with the best Brackley performance for months. Played with the weight of Johnson`s domineering personality utterly lifted. Gaz Dean will make a very good manager at some point, but guess he wants to keep playing for now.

Thought it was a fairly even game first half, switched off for your goal right at the end of the half. But were competitive enough.

Penalty killed us. Got to say don't think it was a pen in a million years, especially given everything the ref let go for both sides all afternoon. Having that and the Monday penalty vs Bradford PA going against us sent Armstrong over the edge. Did the same for me tbh.

After that we were so open trying to get back into the game and you picked us off with the final goal.
