I can see that a mistake by admin could lead to the situation at Kettering but how the hell can the player himself forget he had already played in the competition, wow.

Yes, I said I'd be over the moon with a point, but to take 3 in such style is amazing. Under B & J we hardly ever won a game against top 7 teams and never an away one. Can't wait for Friday.

Loved that today, great performance to end Scarborough's 12 month unbeaten home run. Some cracking scenes at full time with players and fans celebrating together.

Would love to keep Caton for longer if we can, best on the pitch today. Nod to Willoughby who bagged his 17th goal of the season already as well.

Huge buzz around the club at the moment, dare to believe?

Excellent result for in form Darlo today!

It's actually our first victory at Hereford in 26 years! I always remember that magical day in the 1996 play-off semi final travelling down on a Sunday afternoon.

Hopefully we keep up the good work, over previous years our season has normally fizzled out by now.

It's getting really tight at the top.

Thoroughly deserved win at Kidderminster, with the woodwork preventing a bigger scoreline. We only had Dan Leadbitter back from the 8 who are still injured but he makes a massive difference at the back for us. We also had 3 new signings, 4 if you include Dom McHale who has been superb since he arrived initially on loan and now permanently.

You'd think Russ Penn might be on borrowed time now, Brandon Hall only had one save to make all game.

Narrow win tonight, barely deserved but we got there and this team has a habit of doing that. I don’t mind that nobody fancies us, boring, crabs, bring it on. Just a word for Blyth though who were excellent and also brought a decent following considering the circumstances as well. They will surely climb the table from where they are.

Consistently above 2,000 attendances for a few home games running now even in midweek which is great and that’s without any propping up from the away support. Going the right way!

Played Alfreton 3 times in 2022 and each time we've ended up with a player in hospital.

But again not good enough. Playing 10 men for 60 minutes and l we let them dominate the secondbhalf

Chorley ran out comfortable 3-0 winners against Curzon to continue their unbeaten home league run this season. Normally tight affairs against Curzon but no real problems today. What a shame our away form is so poor.

Lost 2-1 to Fylde. First half, truth be told Fylde battered us and our goal led a charmed life as they missed multiple chances. However we had a big penalty shout, which apparently the Fylde radio team said was nailed on, not given.

Second half however we were a lot more positive and took the lead with a cracking goal through McHale. Leadbitter was later cleared out in the middle of the pitch, everyone stopped expecting the ref to blow but nothing given and Fylde to their amazement crossed it in and it was poked home to equalise. They looked as surprised as we did that it stood.

No complaints about their second, good cross and finished off well by the WBA forward they have on loan who is an absolute unit. But should have been a draw. Ref was atrocious, not just for us but also them. Officiating at this level ruins too many games.

24pts from the last 10 games with no defeats. Come to think of it all our defeats have come when we had 6 or 7 players out injured, by one goal, which were by very unusual goals to say the least.

We have turned down a bid from a National league team for Kirt Willoughby, the board statement says we have no intention of selling any of our key players.

I hope this is true. He should not leave the club. !8 goals so far. I would offer him a contract extension funded by the increased crowds. I would imagine he's very happy here. The whole squad are on a different level in terms of team spirit.

Where do you think you will realistically finish in the table at end of season?

For me it’s playoffs as high as possible.
Very enjoyable game when we came to Chester. 3-0 up we should really have put it to bed but didn't. The fixture schedule has become a bit of a joke for everybody this season. Full-time teams have a huge advantage in my opinion.

We are starting to rack up more injuries again as you say playing Saturday and Tuesdays is taking its toll.

Thought Wilkin may have turned a corner with the win at the weekend. Defeat to BPA last night is a real blow.

I'm guessing 3rd, but that might be a tad ambitious if King Kurt does leave. We are the form team at the moment.

Managed to grab a very late equaliser to snatch a point at Hereford only our 8th point on the road. Apparently only 3 travelling Magpies at the game.

Another win on the road for Darlo, a slow start in which Curzon could have scored 1/2 if they had better strikers.

We dominated the game and deservedly got our 2 goals in the end to win.
A cold night in Curzon Ashton 2/3 weeks before Xmas. I fucking love this club.

Great support again from the north-east. Bring on Gloucester away at the weekend.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Curzon need to sack their manager or they are going down.

12 months reign he turned them from an entertaining free scoring top 7 challenger into a bore fest relegation battler.

Get what they deserve if they stick with him yet ousted previous manager when near the top.

According to the NLP recently Lakeland is one of the most talented young managers in non league... You gave us a very tough game at SJP in November. Maybe it

Smash and grab that one at Kettering, 92nd minute winner from Gyasi. Good win there given their home record and that we had more players out again. Hopefully have Nugent, Obedayi and McHale back for Saturday, no idea if Tommy O'Sullivan is back but he's been out for two months now so should be available soon.

Digie, Spence and Phillips all unlikely to be back until next year apparently so big losses. To my knowledge we still have Kevin Dawson at the club but he's essentially frozen out (he was injured for a while, but believe he's not anymore).

I find that irrelevant really.

12 months ago we maybe at Curzon didn’t have the best side in the league but it was in the first half of 2021/22 in the top 3, it was almost certainly one of the more entertaining sides with lots of attacking threat, chances created and gave everyone a good game.

It’s taken a while but he’s utterly destroyed that, the first couple of months he tried to ruin it by changing the style but we were able in games to still attack due to the players we had.

But once injuries kicked in, then in normal small club style we lose the players and get ‘his’ replacements it’s gone backwards.

Granted it’s an extremely hard job, crowds of 150-200 at this level and usually losing anyone excellent to rivals is always going to make job tough.

But they sheer change in style, approach, quality has nose dived.

Brandon Hall, apparently, injured in the warm up leaving a 17 year old to make his debut. The lad is nowhere near good enough for this level when I've seen him, and is also far too small. Needless to say 5 out of the 6 Darlo goals conceded today would have been saved by any semi competent goalie at this level. Almost every shot went in. Not gonna go into the lad, it's not his fault, and also the first couple of goals came from City players giving away possession really cheaply.

But still, it was an embarrassing watch. Darlo deserved the win, no question there but was never a 6-2 game. A new keeper has to be brought in asap.

Just watched the goals...dear me.

Seems like nothing is going Gloucester's way this season.
