We have a slightly-less-than-massive game at Barrow. Both teams have picked up in form recently and with nothing to lose I'm travelling in hope of a decent game. It's my first ever trip to Barrow too so looking forward to it.

Out of our two games this week I thought Lincoln was the one we had more chance of getting points from rather than Torquay to be honest. Suppose we'll just have to wait and see what reaction we get after Burr's sacking.

Wrap up warm. I've been to Barrow 3 times at various times of the season and every time it's been bloody freezing, even one year when the rest of the country was enjoying a heatwave. :bg:

Hopefully, we'll continue our 100% record against Eastleigh. Played 5 won 5 so far. A couple more wins should see us just about confirmed as in the play-offs.

I'm off to Torquay, yay :) Should be warmer than Barrow anyhow. Need the three points, or that'll pretty much be it for the play offs, Nathan Blissett is almost guaranteed to score.

Eastleigh were quite poor last week against us, we even had to score for them in order to keep our 2015/16 league record number of draws in tact

Jesus Christ we're desperate for the 3 points here. I went to the away game and we fully deserved the win we got that day. So we're certainly capable. I just hope the players still believe.

I shall traipse wearily to Moss Lane tomorrow.

Away at Halifax. Bollocks, can't be arsed with that, even though it's out Tour of Duty game (for which we've not even filled one coach, given the apathy to Barry Smith, negative 4-5-1, shit goalkeepers gifting points...etc. etc..)

Going to play 36 holes at North Hants, and drink loads of beer watching Rory fuck up the Masters. I may even check how many we've lost by when I get home, but I doubt it.

I'm not going to Torquay, which improves our prospects of a win. Still not confident though.

Tomorrow marks 3 months to the day since we last won in the league.

Looking at Gateshead's away record I'm expecting us to get dicked AGAIN.

Ps when did 'useful fat lump Rhead' last score out of interest?

I'm not defending Smith, because he should have done better with 2 or 3 of Grimsby's goals the other day but he has been scapegoated when others were also at fault such as Alexander who got nowhere near any of the 3 crosses from that side of the pitch that resulted in 3 of their 4 goals.

As for tomorrow, since Halifax have the worst defensive record in the division I really hope we go for it in the same formation/style as Tuesday. If we do we'll score, if we go for a 0-0 I'd fancy Halifax to score and win.

As far as tomorrow goes, and our chances of becoming champions, it could be game on or game over...we have been saying that for weeks and have still to generate the feeling that it could be anything other than the latter...so, I am guessing it will be our northern neighbours in the market for a trophy cabinet. Our only hope is that Harry Pell decides to walk on an opponent, as demonstrated by Danny Wright, and gets banned for the remainder of the season. Jeez, sounds like I am clutching at straws!

Staying in Colchester for one of the last away weekends of the season. Pretty nervous for tomorrow. As above, if could be game on or game over. I think tomorrow will decide the title.

I think it was the 3-3 draw with Alty in mid-Feb, although he's been in the assists. Not played for the last 2½ games - injured.

The last time I went to Torquay, the game was played on a Saturday evening and Mark Palios was playing for Tranmere.
Can't make this game, my season is over as I'm off to the Far East and won't be back until June.

If we win today we can clinch the title at home to Halifax next week, looking forward to the long trip but very disappointed Guiseley have refused to allow CTFC entry to the seats.

We host promotion chasing Harrogate at home. Not won at the Impact since January 23rd so it will be nice to register a home win before the seasons end.

Just 3 diferents in 15 meetings with Harrogate so history is on our side today too.

Not sure what's to look forward to - Holker Street isn't exactly the most welcoming of places, though it won't be quite as chilly as some have suggested!
I was at the reverse fixture when we beat you, and I think Macclesfield were flying at the time(?). If you play as you did then, we'll take you apart today, but I'm going for a cautious draw as it's simply ridiculous for us to win five on the bounce.

For some reason I've barely noticed Macc this season; mid-table obscurity? I suppose it's better than being in a relegation battle every year.

Maybe a bit of a stretch - we haven't played too many good teams of late - but I think play-off candidates is realistic shout. If you take results from when Cox came in in November, we'd be fifth (on points per game).

Our season started really poorly and didn't really get going I think until after our defeat to you. Then, we played well for a few months generally, without really ever hitting the heights of last season, but were up to 6th after our win at Tranmere on 2nd January. After that, we failed to win for 8 games, and after about 3 or 4 of those winless games, we had already relinquished any chance of the play offs and have been playing for nothing ever since. We are actually unbeaten in our last six league games though, and have won our last 3, away at Gateshead, and at home to Grimsby and Braintree.

A win today would make this our best ever season away from home and also our longest ever run of unbeaten games away from home.

No Power, Waterfall, Stanley or Tempest. Rhead only fit enough for the bench.

Farman, Wood, Howe, Bush, Beevers, Hodge, Sparrow, Hawkridge, Caton, McDaid, Muldoon.

Questionable defence, but quite a bit of pace in forward areas. Not a particularly physically strong or tall side either - only probably three in Howe, Bush and Beevers - maybe Sparrow as well - who are over 6'.

So we've put in a goalkeeper who's only played twice this season and a left back who is 137. Fill yer boots Halifax.

EDIT;- Looks like Barker is playing CB so that means the horrendous McGinty stays at LB. Even worse.

Quiet in here today. Kiddy down as it stands, FGR losing, and Barrows playoff hopes in tatters.....

Braintree beating FGR. Potentially a massive goal, that.
