2000 at any away league game for Chesterfield FC is never 'shite' in my opinion.

Sheffield United was our last away league game (play-off excepted) so it's hardly a momentous occasion.

Hes a prick thats his issue.

Well I guess that doesn't help.

What're your thoughts on Murphy going, see this season going? Personally I'm ok so long as a decent replacement comes in, but sadly I cant help but think Woolford is the replacement. Next 3 weeks are vital, without a new Gk, cb and winger I cant see an outcome other than still being here a year later discussing the sale of Che Adams.

'We're gonna lose...no, we're gonna lose...but we're shit...yeah, but we're shitter...our fans aren't bothered...hey, our's are less bothered...'

Weird stuff.

Me?

Always enjoy my days out in Sheff and, whisper it quietly, we do seem to be some sort of bogey side for under-pressure United...

I think he was our best player when he was interested but sadly he wasnt interested enough too much of the time. I agree with you i don't mind selling him if we replace him however im far more concerned about a centre back and a goalkeeper and also the fact mcevely has been made captain. It will be a very hostile and shite atmosphere tommorrow which is not good bearing in mind its our 1st home game. Lets hope they dont score early or it really will turn sour.

Course not. You sell your best player for similar to what we sold our 3rd best for. Town based blades have been reassuring me we'll be fine and will stay up despite "needing" to take the cash. Our players wanted bigger and better things.

Something doesn't add up here though...2 things. 1. You're loaded apparently so don't need to sell your best player

2. He didn't want to leave

So which is it?

Ignore him. One of if not the biggest c*** on here.

You must know him better, tend to stay away from the football side of this forum-he cant be worse than SERNWA though? haha.
Must say I genuinely find most Chezzy fans decent to talk to but every village needs an idiot.

Ps number 1, we aren't that loaded and sadly Clough left us with a stupidly big squad with little manoeuvre room due to FFP.

As for the game I'm not expecting a thriller nd hope i won't be joining blademan in the pub at HT!

How was Morecambe? Heard very varying views on it.

Dont envy your trip down to Gillingham, one day I'm determined to make all games in a season...you lasted longer than me and I was only listening to the radio. Keith Edwards' negativity annoys me when we're doing well, on Saturday it was enough to make you want to find a cliff.

Much much better. Especially 2nd half we looked good going forward and infact we were very wasteful in front of goal which i didnt mind cos at least we were creating chances. On the downside we looked shite at defending corners again and they also had a couple of good chances. Im not happy with the defence at all i think basham should be playing centre half without a doubt too instead of cm.

Well that sounds positive. Think id like Basham and Edgar at CB but not sure who I'd then play in midfield. Although apparently Edgar prefers playing in midfield so wonder if he'll play there with Basham dropping back.

Problem is mcevely wont be dropped now will he which if he can return to the form he was on in the middle of last season then thats fine but he looks lost at the minute. Im forgetting last saturday but the worry is we now have a worse team than last year, that needs rectifying in the next two weeks.

I'll just drop this here...Sounds like it was at gun point... Mighty blades..arf

"Murphy Interview on "BHAFC Player"

If you have a Blades Player log in, then you can use it on the Brighton equivalent.

Link below... sounds like he wanted to leave to be honest, phrases like "easy decision" and other cliches used etc. although, as much as I like Murphy and think he was out best player, I had to laugh at the response to the interviewers question regarding what type of player he is and what can they expect... "effort... & ... I always give everything I've got"... if he did that it would be a Premier Division side he'd have been signing for instead!"

Would he be better at left-back instead of McFadz, although Wallace sounded decent there? He definitely went off the boil post Spurs.

@BS. Player makes generic statements in new club interview shocker, hardly gonna say 'i was told I was leaving'. Also get off bladesmad you nutjob.

Correct since the handball at spurs hes lost it. Its a shame kennedys never fit we look much better with him in there.

Our injuries atm are ridiculous to say its the start of the season. Kennedy, Baxter, Flynn, Brayford, Harris, Done, JCR, Coutts, Alcock-the majority of whom would at least be in the matchday squad if not starting.

Yes i know kennedy, harris, brayford, baxter and done would all be in my 1st 11. A lot of people forget that and will start booing and being tossers tommorrow should things not go well.

Id possibly have Flynn in ahead of Woolford too, as nice as it'd be to be able to wait for them to get fit I'm not sure we can as most are weeks to months away from being match fit too. Adkins has a very difficult job to do tbf. And of course, we're definitely growing more and more restless as the seasons go on L1. Think Adkins may cop for some of the ill feeling towards the board atm if we don't make a good start tomorrow.

Woolford looked like one of the worst players iv ever seen in the 1st half at morecambe hence why he got took off i hope to god that was a one off.

If I was blade I'd be pissed off if I thought our best player thought it was an easy decision to move to BHA.

Brighton, like all Town fans I hate those pricks.
