Still over a week til this one but I'm bored and this section is dead today so here it is. Wonder how many pages this thread will end up at.

Think we will win this, Grayson seems to have the edge over Cotterill tactically and they have looked wank. Should've beaten us at Deepdale having said that.

0-2. Garner x2.

Not expecting anything here, Bristol City ran us ragged and completely exposed us for having zero pace in the side, we were lucky to nick a point.

They pop up with a result now and then and we're hardly consistent.

Think it'll be a shit 0-0, possibly Kilkenny coming off the bench to pop in another 30 yarder to nick it.

JJH's prediction:

City 0-1782937 Preston meaning he'll walk out after 18 minutes

1 goal in 10 games from open play. Comfortable 0-2. The only positive now is that El-Abd will be available to elbow, headbutt and snap some legs.

Last 3 games:
Preston 1-1 City. Visitors miss several clear chances to win the game.
Preston 1-1 City. Visitors again have the upper hand but settle for a helpful draw.
City 0-1 Preston: Winners have 1 shot and 30% possession whilst City miss open goals.

Given we have got 2 points in 3 games despite being the 'better' team in all we are clearly not going to win this one. 0-0.

This isn't a game for the neutral.

Scrappy away win! 1-0 to the Nobbers

It's inevitable, like I said in the transfer rumours thread.

I'll wait to see who we've brought in from between now and then to make a prediction, but if we're left with the same squad we have now we'll get battered.

Still no sign of Callum Robinson, might be a bag of bollocks that he's coming back to us.

In fairness to him though, do Bristol City ever play 4-3-3? that's pretty much the only formation that suits him.

The general consensus in the summer is that we were going to do so - when Robinson signed he specifically said 'he's a good outlet on the left side of a three' so that must have been the plan.

As it happened, he got a couple of games, one at wing back and one as an attacking midfielder, which clearly neither suited him.

What's happened to you double winners this season?!

Thought you would be sat in a comfortable mid table position at the half way stage along side PNE, ready for the play off push :fish::ds:

I don't know if you ever saw Cotts' article 'How to win a division' on the internet? He's now brought out a second offering, 'How to royally fuck up everything good in 6 months'!
He won the third division and now he thinks he' Pep 'bloody' Guardiola and won't change anything as his way is the right way!
Enjoy your visit to the new Gate and the 3 points you will inevitably be leaving with. :sur:

I've booked Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning off work. Managed to persuade my mate to drive (it's his turn tbf) so will be on the piss on the way down. I do love a Tuesday night away game.

Have a couple of pints of the cloudy stuff Tom. You won't remember the journey home, nor the game for that matter! ;)

City owe us one for the point we scabbed at Deepdale, think they'll think this one by the odd goal.

If they catch the Brum traffic and then the Bristol rush, that could be a very loooonnggg journey down. I'd plan on being away from Preston by 1 at the latest TBH. 3 hours rather than 5 or 6.

My bad, of course you are.
I was actually trying to help Tom but but bow to your vastly superior knowledge of that particular trip.

Yeah I know, was just a case of you quoting my one. I've had the thrill of 7 hour journey's before, so minus 45 mins from Bristol to where I live still a good 6 hours plus of motorway. Had 3 or 4 trips recently where they were all 6 hours plus leaving at different times in the day.
