Whilst Man City Barcelona was an interesting game to watch, you can't help but being disappointed by Barca completely phoning in the second half performance.

They were toying with City for most of the first half but caved after an awful Sergi Roberto error. Rather than fighting back they just dropped their level, it was obvious they didn't need to win the game, but still disappointing to capitulate so easily and readily.

Man City and Barcelona to go through, with Barca top, probably the most appropriate outcome.

Arsenal the big game then. Win or 0-0 and we finish 2nd. Hopefully we make all London clubs our bitch. We started with Chelsea, will Arsenal be next? We still have very few good vibes going forward (Cavani, di Maria and Lucas were shite last night) but our midfiled is solid.

Not sure how to call this at this moment in time but can't wait.

A draw and a pummeling of Ludogerets could still see you top.

Fucking embarrasing so far. Jeff Schlupp is a joke of a footballer. Gray or Albrighton should always start ahead of him. Need Okazaki on and to decide how the defenders are supposed to be lined up. We seem to be playing a 3-6-1 but still with only 2 men in the centre so what's the fucking point?
As bad a 45 as away to Man Utd but without the punishment.

Quite reassuring to see Sissoko back to his usual self tonight.

Still undefeated and the first club to go four without conceding in their European debut.

Monaco destroyed CSKA 3-0. Avoid defeat against Spurs and they're through. Lyon got a decent point in Turin 1-1.

3-3.A pity that Real didn't lose this after leading 2-0 (against the weakest team in the group which scored only once in the previous 3 matches but got 13 ). Nonetheless pretty embarassing and Dortmund now on top of the group (although Sporting made it very hard for them and should've get a point)

Unbelievable that Bayer Leverkusen could save this 1-0 at Wembley. Well Done, Bayer (although I can't stand you in the Bundesliga but this is Europe and the CL :D )

I was very astonished to see that so many left Wembley with minutes to play.
OK, fair enough that they want to go before the "rush" begins but ffs this match was 0-1 and given Leverkusen's recent history with blewing it in the final minutes and Spurs needing the crowd this was very embarrassing to see. You can go early when your team leads 4-0 or is back 0-4 but not when it's 0-1 (but maybe those who left early were not the real Spurs fans but the so-called "Event Fans" who don't give a shit about it but wanted to watch a match at Wembley for moderate prices? (I heard that Spurs made here affordable prices so that many can watch it, is that right?) )

Yes, we won two out of six games there over two seasons. We didn't even make it out of the group stage either year. Shame really as we had a brilliant team, particularly in 1998-99, and could have gone much further.

Getting out of Wembley is not the same as getting out of any random 40k ground though. I know I left early when I attended France/Bulgaria at the Stade de France (granted, France had the game in the bag). But yes, this kind of nonsense (people leaving early) happens everywhere.

Them were the days of Mitre football, where both sides really went for it without much second thought. Good times mate, good times.

Beat Lens once we both dropped into the UEFA Cup though! And we knocked out Nantes. So that's Arsenal 2 France 1.
