Getting out of Wembley is not the same as getting out of any random 40k ground though. I know I left early when I attended France/Bulgaria at the Stade de France (granted, France had the game in the bag). But yes, this kind of nonsense (people leaving early) happens everywhere.

Of course it happens everywhere. But this was a CL match and Spurs was only 0-1 behind and the first "fans" left Wembley after the 78th minute. That's unbelievable even when "getting out of Wembley is not the same as getting out of any random 40k ground" as you said.
I've talked about this at 1FF.net with a Spurs fan who attended the match until the bitter end and he was so disappointed about the reaction of these fans, leaving the stadium so early when the team needed the crowd. As I said before, leaving early when the match is decided (4-0, 0-4) is okay for me but not 12 minutes before the end when your team is 0-1 behind)

You say it happens everywhere, but I very rarely saw it at Gladbach or noticed it at other German grounds even when we were bottom and getting tonked in a few of the games a few seasons ago.
Was/is that because the fans are encouraged to join in the post match celebrations/commiserations and that it is also a social eating and drinking event of which the football is a part?

Honestly, starting to feel good about the premier league again. Think next few seasons we will see a similar period where English teams dominate. The talent is staggering.

I almost died when Ozil scored.

Think this will be a fun quote to bring back up.

Deepcut Cobbler : Is this adressed to me or to mistermagic who made this statement at first?

My "of course that happens everywhere" wasn't meant as this behaviour in Wembley is a normal situation that happens everywhere. I should have added "...but not in this amount and not so soon and not when a match isn't even decided"
Yes that rarely happens in Germany that the fans are leaving and especially not after 78th minutes in thousands like the "Fans" in Wembley did and when a match isn't decided
You see some leaving here early in the final minutes too because they want to get out before the crowd leaves and the rush starts. But I've never seen it in this amount and when a match isn't decided.

Tonight we play the decisive match for the first place in the group and we are without Benatia, Barzagli, Dybala, Pjaca and Higuain. Plus Chiellini and Marchisio are in poor physical conditions. What could possibly go wrong?

Spurs need to win away to Monaco tonight or they're out of the CL as it stands with Leverkusen currently winning against CSKA and given their group, that'd be a pretty piss poor showing really.
Leicester can guarantee at least qualification to the next round by getting a result against Brugge. But regardless of our result if Copenhagen don't beat Porto then we're through anyway.

Sevilla to beat Juve today.

Juve are being shown up in the UCL. They've not been great in Italy. Smashing the smaller sides but kind of being let off against the bigger teams. Which is strange considering the team they've built this year. If Sevilla win today I will begin to think Allegri is a short term manager like Jose and Ancelotti.

Also, just a note, anyone who says Monaco is a french side is 100% incorrect.

I hope so, and it will be the match I'll be watching tonight.

Monaco have a strange status in France. But their results go into our coefficient. Hoping they can avoid defeat tonight.

I don't rate Cuadrado that much but when he's on his game, he's unplayable.

I can't ever remember a time when the Germans have stormed through a Polish defence like this!

No they aren't.
Let it go mate, nobody cares.

Monaco cleardly the better side. Falcao has missed a penalty (Lloris with a great save) but most chances came Monaco's way. Son is having a ridiculously bad evening. Missed a one-on-one and all his passes seem to be going all over the place.
I fear that Monaco have missed their chance of scoring. Very intense half of football from them. Hopefully Spurs don't wake up and score.

PSG clearly don't understand the law. He's been convicted, so pending the appeal he isn't presumed innocent, he's guilty. The home office are correct to refuse his entry.
Reckon that's fair enough really.

Why? Because you wanted a Sevilla win and now it's looking unlikely?

He's gifting this game to Juve, he's dishing out way too many yellows for Sevilla and gave a penalty that wasn't a pen (I may have to rewatch that, it didn't look it though)
