Slightly surprised that Bristol City haven't sold out given the party potential and relative easy of trip.
It's been quite an expensive season. A fair amount of people would have been to both Preston and Bradford. Taking into account Wembley as well I can understand if this hasn't sold out. Especially as effectively it's a nothing match. There'll still be a party atmosphere with around 1800 city celebrating winning the league and ??00 Chesterfield celebrating reaching the playoffs.

I guess it's because it's just a nothing game. Only went on general sale a couple of days ago as well.

Btw don't invade the pitch on Saturday as we could risk a points deduction.

They didn't against Dover, a game where they could have all but sealed promotion.

Besides as others have said it's a nothing game for us.

He has a point. Our Jack is a sensible young lad.
Pitch Invasion with no spite involved whatsoever - not a chance of a fine.

Not a chance.

Surprised we haven't sold out, but I can see why people aren't that fussed about going with promotion already secured.

Was absolutely buzzing for this game a few weeks ago - now I just want to get it out of the way and get onto the Walsall game.

This is how I feel about it as well. Even as early as last week I couldn't wait for this but now I can't really be arsed haha

Genuinely can't believe you haven't sold out. Not having a dig, honestly.

You're all saying it's a nothing game but it's not, it's a chance to watch football, with no pressure involved and celebrate your already achieved promotion. I'd be absolutely buzzing for it in your position. Baffling.

It is quite poor - but I can understand why people don't want to spend money on a game that effectively has nothing riding on it.

I'm not going. We've achieved what we set out to and this is just a glorified friendly. Eighteen hundred will be enough to bag second spot for away attendances which continues to be impressive given the amount of miles travelled.

I certainly will be.
And if the FA want to make an example of a club? 2 pitch invasions in 2 weeks looks a great place to start

I agree with you. Our away support has been very dissapointing recently given the circumstances. Only 900 went to the promotion clincher at Bradford, and now this.

Wait, is this guy saying he's going to run on the pitch? Why?

I'm very protective of our pitch. Run on it and I'll find you and give you what for.

Is the rumours of Cook going to Portsmouth true then? I think he'd be better off staying put personally!

As for JJ's comments.. He's saying that he's going to run on the pitch at our final game against Walsall. There's no way the stewards would allow away fans to go on the pitch anyway

Yeah they've made an approach which our CEO rejected. Which, with our CEO, usually means "come back with another tenner and we'll talk"

We can't force people to go mate, all we can do is go ourselves.
The fact we are already up and shelling out for ST's has meant another expensive month so I can understand people not going tbh.
The sheer volume of ST sales has surprised alot of us. I was hoping to wait until after pay day to get ours but had to act sooner as they will be all gone very soon!

A very good interview it was, great to see a manager who sees it as it is in the fact that it was the putting together of the squad and mentality of said squad rather than the amount spent that got us to where we are.
