We weren't at our best which is probably down to your guys. Big difference between between 1st & 6th, but no surprise given the respective budgets.

We didn't play badly apart from a few individual errors we need to fix. City just a really good side. Hard to score against and big. They will be fine in the Champo with that side

Kept up to date via Twitter and listened to the last 25 mins on the radio and seemed we kept it professional and played as if it were any stage of the season.

I must admit I thought we'd taken our foot off a bit after our match last week against Coventry. Though, Coventry gave us a good game. Does go to show (again) that we're pretty decent!

Good luck to Chesterfield in the play-offs. Of the teams in the play-offs, I do fancy Chesterfield the most to pull it off in the manner of the Dark Horse :2thumb:

Will be interesting now to see who finishes 2nd/3rd.

A bit disappointed with our performance today but we're in the play-offs and who thought that would be the case back in August? Not me anyway. Credit to all the coaching staff and players.

Well done City, that's why your champions, as you sang. Nothing at all to play for but still a good, professional performance from you guys and sadly we weren't quite good enough to give you a proper game. There's definitely a gap in quality between the top 4 sides and the rest of us and it's clear that the play-offs are going to be a bloody tough ask but hopefully we've now got the under-par performance out of the system beforehand and well, you just never know....

On that showing we'd get creamed every single week.
Too many mistakes, too casual in possession, and we could do with playing one of them striker thingys.

Bit disappointed we didn't put up more of a fight today, but we can still finish above Sheff U next week. Although the football gods are determined to send us to Milton Keynes as many times as possible.....

I'm not going too be too disheartened. Bristol City are clearly a way ahead of the rest of the division as the table suggests.

Preston and MK are just below, tough but beatable. Then Swindon, good on their day but fallible and then us and Sheffield Utd, one punching above their weight budget-wise, the other below.

Real solid away win today which was class as we had nothing on the game and they did.

Impressed by Agard for once today - nice goal and caused problems.

I was impressed by Chesterfield at AG but they seemed bit devoid of ideas today...shot that came off the woodwork was unlucky though.

Best of luck in the play-offs.

Whilst it wasn't a great display in footballing terms from us, it was a good day to be a football fan in attendance at a packed ground, having drunk a few beers, savouring a great atmosphere watching two teams trying to play it the right way. I almost even forgot about this week's little crisis after coming to a sort of "Bollocks to it, if he goes he goes" type of conclusion.

Who knows where it'll all end up. The sun could be setting on the best team we've had in the modern era, or this could be the start of something major...the next few weeks are so huge.

Congratulations BCFC and best of luck in the Championship.

Great performance. JET and Agard worked very well as a front two, considering (I think) that's the first time they've started a game together. Not a surprise to see Flinty bag another

Not long back home and what a cracking day. A few beers in the dodgy Donkey or whatever that big orange boozer just up from the ground was called, met some cracking Chesterfield fans, a very good performance from us and a lot of hand shaking and mutual good wishes from both sets of fans afterwards.
I wish Chesterfield all the luck in the world in the play offs after today. What a friendly bunch you are.
Oh yeah, that was the best performance I have seen from Kieran Agard in a City shirt.

I dont think you can underestimate the impact of pompeys awfully timed approach. I really hope they go under.

City the best side to visit the Proact this season, enough said.
Champions for a reason and well deserved given the season they've had, should hold their own next season.

I think that's the best goal Agard has scored for us.
