Hate it when opposition fans think we will easily win...

I hate it when your team loses 7 straight league games, with not a single goal scored in the last five.

It will be either 0-3 or 1-3 if we get lucky.
The best value bet of the day at 11/10 is the Coventry win. I'm numb to losing now, as seemingly are the players.

At least 2600 away fans will brighten the place up.

Our team is shocking. That defence is going to get absolutely rinsed.

Fair result I guess. We were far better 2nd half. Ref and lino were shocking.

January is a big month. Burton and Walsall at home.

Firstly, it has to be said that a pitch invasion because of an equaliser against struggling Chesterfield, is quite high on the tinpot chart.

Thought we were unlucky in the end, despite an obvious lack of quality i thought (most of) the players put in a proper shift in and had we taken either of the two big chances to go 2 up, we'd be here celebrating a very rare win but football is very unforgiving, especially in tough times.

Did Coventry clinch promotion today? I only ask because there is no way you'd pitch invade like they did just because you've equalised against a side who've lost 7 in a row.

The Chesterfield goalkeeper hit one of the fans on the pitch anyway. He will be rightly punished for that as will the fans on the pitch.

CORRECTION: the Chesterfield goalkeeper picked up the Coventry City fan and slammed him on the floor.

That is a crime. I hope he enjoys his ban and fine. However, he doesn't deserve a ban and a fine if it was JoeJoeJoeJoe who he picked up and slammed.

Let's just go along with this being true for a moment.........and i have my doubts, he'll be "rightly" punished for possibly defending himself against a person/moron who should still be in the stand?

Yes he would be.

A poor act from the Chesterfield goalkeeper! He was not attacked. He should have waited for the stewards to come and take him away.

The stewards were a matter of seconds away but he decided to take it into his own hands!

I am appalled that you can defend this. It's a red card offence but obviously the referee did not see this.

No issue with the keeper there, if you encroach onto the pitch you get what you deserve.

They entered the pitch  , approached him and Tommy defended himself like anyone else would , the Coventry fan got embarrassed. Did I actually hear Coventry fans sing about villa by the way?:ffs:

After seeing that i can only agree with your use of the word "crime".

Lock him up and throw away the key. ANIMAL.

He is not a steward. He doesn't have the right to do that.

The fan does not have the right to go on the pitch. He will be punished.

Laughable! He broke the law.

I don't know. I wasn't there my friend.

Doubt he'll get too much punishment if any for that. The guy has gone up to the keeper and he's used a restraining move, not even that bad. Keepers have been attacked in the past so don't think there's much issue. In fact the muppet who went up to him looks an absolute tool now!
