Yes, we did last year. Our safety certificate is issued by Cheshire West. The Deva was deliberately built with the main stand facing the sun (not ideal) so that the offices were situated in England.
I'm calling the police.

What sort of chance is there of you guys being able to field a team this Sunday? It's looking increasingly like it might be the last game week with fans for a while.
Somewhere between slim and zero.

Feel sorry for the Welsh fans in this (even the Wrexham ones). I’m certain that we’ll look back on this ‘wave’ and talk about how much of a severe overreaction it was this time round.

Governments failed to act quick enough the first time round and have now completely shat themselves this time round. The fact you can get into a nightclub but not a football ground is absolutely insane. Hope you all get in grounds ASAP and the shit show that is Boris Johnson’s government don’t impose this on the English clubs.

Anyone carrying a block of stilton and bottle of pinot grigio will still be allowed into the Racecourse Ground.

Steady case rate, lowest infection rate per 100k, highest vaxed and boosted %, declining hospitalizations and deaths 'with' Covid.....and the clown tightens things!

Stupid logic to do this when people can go to the pubs instead, but not to worry, they are meeting today to close down, or at least heavily restrict them as well.

I expect this will be coming to England soon as part of whatever 'circuit breaker' they try to pull after Christmas.

Genuinely, enjoy your boxing day games when you've got them fellas!

So a rather small margin then? :D

Pro's and cons to behind closed doors from boxing day I guess. Obviously we all want to go but playing teams like Chesterfield and Grimsby away from home with no fans level's the playing field so to speak.

We're quite clearly holding out for more tickets. Only 1200 tickets is it, West Yorkshire Police? How does no triple pay bank holiday overtime on Boxing Day sound? Have fun watching Mrs Brown's Boys at your mother-in-law's. Absolute power play from The Mariners.

Absolute state of Labour and the SNP. And probably the Tories here soon.

If we can’t go through a winter without shutting things down, when the majority of the population is vaccinated, then when?

Its time to accept COVID is around to stay and get on with our lives. Those who want to stay inside and hide away are free to do so.

Be nice for us to have a Christmas off. Chesterfield are not playing boxing day so would have a massive advantage on 28th if we played boxing. You'll be doing us a favour. Cheers and merry christmas.

My hope is that Boxing Day is off and then when it’s rearranged we get given more tickets so I can go.

If we can go to games by then. The whole things just up in the air at the minute. Just waiting on captain clown to make it official now.

No further restrictions this side of Christmas announced by Prime Clown just now. He’s got this one right thankfully. It should be no further restrictions after Christmas also if the data continues to show low deaths and hospitalisations vs High cases.

Lets hope for the best and no behind closed doors games here in England. Personally think the Welsh and Scottish have jumped the gun a bit.

At least that gives everyone the best part of a week before we all ignore whatever Boris says

Yeah what he means is that they will announce something on the eleventh hour so the same restrictions apply from the 27th only they will have avoided the backlash the Senedd and Scottish Parliament got before Christmas, and there is a panic because its all last minute.

We should just try and see if we can get the Solihull game postponed rather than play it behind closed doors.
Trouble with that is we will then have to probably postpone the Altrincham and Notts County games too.....

I‘ve heard/read that sentiment quite a bit and it’s bollocks. You can‘t let a virus as virulent and contagious as Covid run riot when only 60/70% of the population are vaccinated. And you can’t tell the vulnerable to stay inside while the rest of us carry on as we like.

That said, I don’t know what evidence there is to suggest that football matches are high risk events. Has Drakeford or anyone else provided any to justify that decision?

Apparently it's not really the fans in an outdoor stadium, it's the travelling on public transport, spending time in pubs before and after etc. Not just the 90 min's at the match.

To be honest the Tory backbenchers getting something right for a change and forcing Boris not to do much more. People are fed up of it, it's time to treat it like the flu and carry on with life, we can't keep restricting people's lives forever, it's been going on nearly two years now.
