Prediction time.

After back to back defeats…

0-0

Stops the rot in terms of losing, but not enough, leaving our playoff hopes hanging by a thread.

Agree with others on Umerah above, looks completely knackered atm, wouldn’t be surprised to see him drop to the bench tomorrow, don’t think he has trained much this week, was a notable absence from the open training session the club held this week.

Looking forward to tomorrow, amazing what positivity a bit of decent football brings.

Should be a good game I imagine, need Bradford to do us a favour as well

Crawley for us. Not sure when we last beat them at their place. Mind is all foggy. If we have any hopes of the autos then we really need to be winning against the poor sides near the bottom, but we've struggled in that regard this season. Think we'll change that and beat these lot.

3-1 City.

Edit: Forgot about Sutton. 2-2 draw. Four points over East wouldn't be too bad IMO, though six would be lovely. Will Lee Angon be playing, Sutton fans?

Lee should make an appearance. He missed the last two due to an illness.

Doubt our depleted squad will pick up anything at Carlisle, who've already dumped us out of the Cup at their place this season. Some fear that using Ian Dawes' preferred midfield diamond formation will see Rovers be torn apart by a quality opponent. We'll see.

Swindon at PP on the Monday is a harder one to call, but reckon a draw the most likely outcome

Wellens confirms we have no fit striker tomorrow, likely to play a false probably. Theo Archibald out for rest of season as well it seems.

I actually think a diamond could be effective against us if applied well. Seeing as we have no wide threat. We don’t play with wingers and our “wing backs” don’t really offer much going forward. Everything we do in an attacking sense comes through the middle, either from direct forward balls or our midfielders winning second balls and getting it forward quickly.

If one million injuries isn’t enough the universe is trying something else to derail our promotion bid - Jon Brady has been named manager of the month for March. Fully deserved but let’s hope there’s no curse.

Barrow at home today then Colchester away on Mondaym all abit meh at this stage of the season now. Barrow away was agreeably our worst performance of the season, certainly up there. So hopefully we can get a better showing out of this one. Then Colchester away, I'd like a win just for the sake of possibly sending either them or Crawley down.

Interesting. I’m no tactical expert, just relaying what others fear about the diamond. Our main attacking threat had probably been runs from the full-backs, but the diamond limits their ability to do that. Plus Dacred-Cogley, who’s off in the summer is mentally already on the beach.

Not at the game today as I've had to go away but I'm hoping to watch it on iFollow..

I have faith in my team to be shit and good, sometimes in the same game, but mostly shit.

I reckon if we played with a back 5 and 4 in the middle and 3 up front we have a chance but it seems there's some "rule" stopping us.

Sneaking suspicion we might nick a point.

13 players inc the keeper then - yep there's a rule stopping it - unless Crawley are taking up Rugby League

No Sylla is a massive loss for us today, Featherstone just doesn’t have the legs anymore

Our bench today...

The Rubbish Glennon, Emmanuel, McAtee, Clifton, Morris, Orsi, Taylor.

Not bad at all that.

must be confident to rest your 1st team because you're playing Hartlepool.... or are you trying to save them and get rid of Colchester and/or Crawley

I think it's more to do with the sheer amount of games we've played, especially over the last six weeks or so. The players we've started with all fully deserve their places too and are very much first teamers to be fair:

Crocombe
Efete
Amos
Smith
Maher
Waterfall
Hunt
Green
Holohan
Khan
Lloyd

Our bench today by comparison to Grimsby
O’Connor, Hoti, Chalmers Taylor-Cooke Mumbongo Burton Taylor.
No reserve keeper, only O’Connor with a reasonable number of games under hos belt. While the staring xi are ok potential for things to go horribly wrong.,.

We've not had a keeper on our bench for most of the season, which will probably bite us on the arse at some point if it continues.

No Sylla is a massive blow for us, not a tackle in that midfield today. Fear the worst.

Is that a choice by Paul Hurst or are you in our position with only two registered keepers, one injured?

Choice by Hurst mate, we've got a backup option in Ollie Battersby but I don't think Hurst trusts him. I think we'll see some competition for Crocombe (assuming he signs a new deal) come in in the summer and then we'll have a keeper on the bench.

1 down already. Should have added that the one keeper we have isn’t very good.

Woeful opening time minutes from us. Barely touched the ball. These crypto pricks always turn up against us.

Looking bright at Newport, had a few good chances so far.

Aaron McGowan has come off injured after 28 minutes because of course someone has to

Been all us since I last posted. Cook misses a great chance and we should really be 1-0 up. Hope it's not one of those games.

What is it about London clubs

We're lucky to get sixty seconds without a Sutton player lying down
