I reckon we could beat the 3500 barrier for the Dunkirk game.
It will more than likely tail off a bit. Think maybe 2000 average for the season.

We beat Brimscombe & Trupp fc 4-2 last night, was 3 up at half time. They beat FGR, albeit in a friendly 1-0, so very happy with the result as they play at the same step as us.

Lost 3-2 at home to Hull City U21's today, in our final pre-season match.
We played some really nice stuff.
I'm confident about the season ahead. Can't wait for next Saturday, now :)

Superb! Cant wait ti you visit Heanor. Will be there for sure!

Also can't believe I forgot to respond to this one :)
I'd be more than happy to buy you a pint at the Heanor game - It would be good to meet another old-school member of TFF in person.

Won 4-1 today, with John Mills scoring a hat trick, who looks crazily good for this level, should be playing way higher. crowd was 4,068 a MFL record. Thought we looked very nervous at the start, but grew into the game. Great win, still more to come from us.

Was a great result and performance. John Mills looks a cut above.
I also thought Pablo Heysham was outstanding supplying the ammo for him.
Onwards and upwards :)

Thought we played nowhere near our best and still managed a 4-1 win! Mills is just far too good for defenders at this level, he will be helping himself every single game.

Well that didn't last long!
Lost 2-0 at Stourport tonight. Played awful for most of the match, too.

1,300 there in total. I would guess at no more than 150 locals. We were poor but the red card penalty didn't help! Was never a foul either, won the ball clean. I think the lads will learn from that one and hopefully take things a bit more serious in the next game as we started with the attitude that we had already won the game!

Might be better to take a knock this early in the season, just hope your lot don't put it down to a "wrong" (I haven't seen it) penalty/red card decision and go in to other games like that. I think we were the better for having a few bad games at the start of our first season, and you look like you've got a better squad for the level than we did (and far more money to throw at it too).

Do you have a good idea who your main opposition towards the top of the table will be this season? Any teams spending a load of money to try and get promotion?

Hopefully it gives them a good kick up the arse.

Heard Alvechurch and Sporting Khalsa have big budgets, with a couple of others who are expected to be up there at the end of the season. I must admit, I don't really know a lot about it!

Yep. In all honesty we, as a fanbase, needed a kick up the backside as soon as possible. If nothing else, then just to show that this league wouldn't be a walkover.

It also seems like some of our numpty element took the trip to Stourport and kicked off quite badly, causing lots of damage.
To be honest, I didn't see anything. Though I have always been aware of this obviously emasculated (or retarded) section of our fans who attend games only to cause trouble. Especially now we are under the radar a bit more. Probably the same twats who were involved at Burton away in 2003, which has to go down as one of the most repugnant and sickening acts of Football violence I have ever seen.

I live near a club in your league they got around 80 for their last game Hereford got over 4000. I'm sure most clubs cant wait for you to go there, it will keep them in business for years.

Just seen that Hereford lost their second consecutive game to Highgate United. This does seem like a concern. What is the problem Hereford fans?

I didn't go to highgate saturday, but attended the shambles at stourport tuesday night. to me, there is a couple of problems, 1 is, our strikers Pablo Heysham and John Mills are not the tallest, and we keep lumping it forward to them, and the centre backs are massive, and win the ball every single time. I also feel we are too weak in midfield, we need to change our formation IMO, to a 3-5-2 or 4-5-1. Dunkirk, pressed abit more than the other two, and the forwards got behind them, regularly. These two games, that didn't happen, they played deep.

I hope you get that sorted as it's a given that you'll win that league with over 100 points and goals.

3-0 down after 11 minutes yesterday. Scored 4 in the last Half hour to win the game, feel that is a huge win.

I heard about apparent violence but seemed to be just a load of bollocks! Couple hereford fans got in a fight with each other and that was that. Handbags.
