I'll keep updating when I remember! I use the fa site for the league table http://full-time.thefa.com/Index.do?league=6125369

Game tonight at home against fellow Hereford based side westfields in the polymac packaging league cup...

Just FYI, that's not the FA who maintain that. It's somebody from the structure of your league. We had the same in the UCL. So it depends on your scores reporting system and whoever updates it. The UCL were actually quite good at it and generally had it up within a few hours of FT.

Interesting to see with the four teams behind you having a bunch of games in hand due to various cup commitments (I guess) or maybe just scheduling and luck, they could all theoretically go ahead of you despite the big winning run, but none by much. Looking like a close run thing at this stage, expect you to start pushing clear around the new year.

Hi Dalts ..... if you go up this season would you expect to be in The Evo Stik Northern Premier League 1 South or the Southern League Div 1 Central?

They definitely wouldn't be in the SLD1C. S&W with a small chance of NPLD1S but unlikely, more likely we'd get moved north depending of course on all the other promotions and relegations.

We would enter the south and west.

Won 4-1 last night with a crowd of 1,800 (must be some sort of record for that cup)

To be honest, I can't see us losing more than a couple times before the end of the season and I think that will be down to injuries, suspensions, luck etc. Haven't seen any teams that worry me yet but yet to play a couple of the higher placed teams so who knows.

Trouble is, in these leagues, there will likely be an opposition team who performs similarly as well. There really is a gulf in class between the top and bottom of the divisions in step 5.

im not quite as confident as dalts,a couple of clubs are going to push us all the way imo, those being alvechurch and sporting khalsa, both who are thought to have higher budgets than hfc,our games against these two will be key to who wins this league.

Great run you lot are on. What is worth noting from the table (and isn't immediately apparent due to formatting) is the both Avelchurch and Khalsa can go above if they win all their many games in hand. Rather be in your position of course.

Really not sure that they have higher budgets than Hereford. Not that they aren't spending beyond their means, but the income generated is leagues above what anyone else is getting! At £8 (£7 concessions) you are charging more than pretty much anyone else at step 5 (without researching) with an average of 2,685 (NLM site - 7th highest non-league attendances).

If nothing else Hereford certainly have the resources to outspend these sides. The money thrown at teams in step 5 really isn't that great. Hereford could easily be out-spending almost every step 4 team and still be turning a profit.

defeats by stourport away, highgate away and a home 5-4 thriller to coleshill ,team has changed by around 6/7 players since those early games.
budget wise I would think that now we probably are spending a bit more than everybody else,i think the board have finally realised that they had been too conservative with the initial budget and have now used our spending power to good effect while still maintaining a sensible sustainable policy.

Rumours that khalsa and church both have bigger budgets than ourselves!! I can't see that myself.
In our first 6 games we had won 2 drawn 1 and lost 3 found our feet since then and a couple of players leaving with a couple more joining has settled us down.

According to some rumours our two strikers we signed from didcot are believed to be one a combined £700 per week (mills £400 pabs £300)
Going off that I would say we are comfortably over £1,200 a week in total, although those two are our highest paid players.

So the winning run ends at 27 for Hereford after a 1-1 draw with Alvechurch who can overtake hereford if they win all their games in hand. Looks like its going down to the wire!

Still got to play them again away on Easter Monday, but it'll defiantly be close, think we just have enough to win the league though.

Noticed that Nick Wright scored Alvechurch's goal, hadn't realised he'd dropped to that level. The league table is tight, it'll be very interesting if Alvechurch win their games in hand.

What happened last time out against Highgate? A 2-0 loss?! Lots like it may go down to the wire.

Terrible game. I think we've been spoilt a bit with the 34 games unbeaten.

Blimey, you did well to get Mills from Didcot, he scored a shedfull of goals last season and I was sure he would move to the Football League.

Virtually sold out for Salisbury next week. 5-0 away win yesterday, great performance from us, With Pablo Haysham playing up top, we look incredible going forward. Incredible goal by Bundu again this week, boy is bound for the football league and more.

I've just looked at the Midland League and see that Alvechurch are 2 points ahead of Hereford (same games). Question is: if Alvechurch win the league have they applied for and been accepted for promotion?

They have certainly applied. Not sure if that has been accepted though.

interesting result tonight, alvechurch lost at boldmere so now lead by 2pts but played a game more.
not sure how they got on with the ground grading but as they have been in the southern league before I would guess they will be ok,

Bloody hell how can a team go 34 games unbeaten and still not be top lol!
Guess there must be a lot of draws in there somewhere?

How do Alvechurch do it on crowds averaging less than 100.

Ground grading deadline is 31st March, which means nobody is rejected before that. Teams that weren't up to standard have until then to get up to standard (and pass an inspection).
