Probably best to mute it so you don't have to hear what seems to be an over-excited 10 year old doing the commentary.

Our player went to tackle then pulled his leg away at the last second. Akinde's reaction after tells you all you need to know.

Akinde dived, there was contact but nowhere near enough to bring him down. Disappointing.

Embarrassing commentary. Akinde dived. Highlights don't show many of the counter attacks we could of scored off but messed up

Looked a clear dive to me.

Poor goal to concede and couple of very good chances missed by Akinde and MacDonald.

Oh well, on to the next one as has been our ethos all season.

Impressive how they managed to add 12 minutes of nothing onto the 'end' of the highlights.

They did the same when they played us.

But a definite dive went over far too easy

Akinde's very smart in the box, he knows when the defender's given him enough to go down. Half of the time that would've been given as a penalty, regardless of whether it actually was or not. He's been caught out this time. He's done it to us twice in two seasons, both of which were given. Not convinced either of them were but they weren't blatant dives either. I can respect him for that. No theatricals, just business.

I'm shocked so many people think that is a clear dive from Akinde - I suppose I will be biased but the Wrexham defender definitely puts a foot in to trip him.

There's definitely contact there and the Wrexham player didn't win the ball. He mistimed his tackle and caught the player, in the area - penalty.

Akinde said himself after the game that he was tripped. He's not the sort of player to dive - as I said before, with the treatment he gets he doesn't need to exaggerate.

I haven't seen the clip of the trip, but have seen Akinde play. The fact that he is top of the goal scoring chart suggests that he has a level of determination that he will not pass up any chance to put the ball in the back of the net and that he is very good at it. That type of player is very rarely one who would simulate a foul and waste a chance to add to his tally.

First came the age old argument that attendances don't get you promoted, but now it sounds like its highlights packages. We don't stand a chance.

You'll actually find that we have a subscription service like the vast majority of ex league clubs due to a deal that was put in place years ago.

Still no highlights from Tuesday, poor for such a self professed big club

Yep, we're always banging on about how massive we are and we're too big for this league, you're quite right.

We're just not letting you see the highlights because you'll all have a meltdown when it transpires that goal was wrongfully disallowed. It's for your own health. Thank us later.

Is there? Definitely? How can you tell from this angle? The ref had the ideal angle for the call and everyone on that side of the ground knew it was a dive. In any case, it's not even in the box for starters let alone whether it was a foul or not.

Highlights of our game

Definite penalty (incident 3:54 onwards) although Gibbs was a little lucky not to give away a couple of seconds before.

We've already seen both our goals, they were filmed from the away seats

We were in the Main Stand and from there we were all certain it had gone out, but from the highlights I think he actually kept it in.
Either way, we should have played to the whistle instead of standing like statues.
And the goal was definately coming anyway, had that been disallowed they would have just scored later, we were all resigned to it!!
I didn't actually really think anything either way at the time, but you know how it is when you're attacking and pushing for a goal, you're already watching who is in the box.. I actually think it is in, just. The bottom of the ball is over the line no doubt, but I'm not sure the entire ball is.

As for the penalty, looking back on it, I think the ref got it spot on. At first I thought that if it was a foul (couldn't really see down the other end), then it had to be a red? But looking back at it, that would be a foul anywhere else on the pitch. Yes, the ball was going out, but its still a foul. I don't know why some people think something can be a foul, but not a penalty. They're the same thing - just over a little white line. Referee's also need to get up to scratch on this. A foul is a foul, end of. However, because the ball is going out of play, its only a yellow, not a red as the keeper didn't deny a goal scoring opportunity.
