Everton won't finish higher than 7th. Liverpool and Spurs are both better, and possibly Leicester too depending on how well they do in the new year.

I think Everton will win the league depending on how well they do in the new year

It all depends how long the honeymoon period lasts. A couple of months, top 6 is possible. Keep it up for a little longer then who knows how far they can go.

Though I'd be worried, Abertawe and his football knowledge/predictions are always wrong...that's the most worrying part if you're a Liverpool fan.
You obviously can't filter out my bullshit. My serious posts are generally dead on the money, see pre season Villa prediction. Carry on believing that I was actually serious when I said we'd win the title/finish top four.

That old chestnut.

As for Villa going down, water is also wet.

I dunno what makes me feel more nauseated, the actual (relatively rapid tbf) improvement of liverpool, the wankfest to come from salty g-drag and the more subtle pags, or toddle's obsessive compulsive disordedly anti liverpool bantz.

You all make me sick.

How defensibly minded would you say Klopp is? I've seen his football on plenty of occasions, but not studied it in great detail. Amongst all the offensive play, does he ensure the defence plays it's part or should we partly expect the Liverpool of 13/14, where the attitude was basically "you will score, but we'll score more".

For a manager known for his teams stamina and aggression, Klopp has so much work to do on that squad. So passive.

If Leicester beat Liverpool then Klopp will have had the same start to the Liverpool job as the Hodge.

same start yet he's inheriting a rodgers team mid way through a challenging league he's had not much experience in yet, hardly a fair comparison christian. He's done well so far, I'm proud of him for having guts against watford today, he's one of the most passionate managers I've seen, it's not his fault if the club is as it is. Rodgers said judge me after 3 years, I think Klopp should be given the same amount of time to try and start winning liverpool majors.

It's not a fair comparison for Hodgson if anything. Roy had a much worse side than the current Liverpool squad and was in charge during the shit end of Hicks and Gillette. The fans never took to Roy either.

I don't doubt Klopp's ability, but he's underperformed so far.

It's also funny seeing Rodgers getting thrown under the bus by Liverpool fans as an excuse for Klopp's start.

It's also funny seeing Rodgers getting properly thrown under the bus by Liverpool fans as an excuse for Klopp's start.

He didn't get very involved today - almost seemed resigned to the result...

Probably gave him a bit of an eye opener TBH.

Yeah he'll go through that team like a dose of salts in the summer. They should put all their eggs into winning the Europa, it's the only chance of CL football as they won't do it through the league.

You are the worst team I've seen us play so far this season. When we beat Bournemouth they slaughtered us throughout pretty much...

what, so you don't think our team is suited to water polo? we were walking it until the pitch became unplayable and the game was played out with the ball 10ft in the air.

5 more points to go fella. you can do it, chin up :)

it's ok you don't understand but I'll try to explain as well as possible: klopp could of easily chosen a formation that would have been more compact, in klopp's post match he talks about compactness of our formation letting us down

he got involved at half time, in the team talk, told them what they were doing wrong, and we were the better team in the 2nd half believe it or not (I know everyone anti liverpool fan and watford fan are on cloud 9 so don't want to believe that) (as he said) despite not getting anything to show for it, and being punished late on, on the counter

My biggest frustration with Rodgers was that when attacking with possession, we had no urgency, no movement, no clear plan. I am disappointed in Klopp that he hasn't changed any of this so far.

We have possession somewhere around the half-way line and everyone higher up the pitch are standing with their back to the opposition goal. One player makes a run towards the ball to make himself available for a pass. Often receives it with his back to goal with a defender right on him and can only pass it back again or sideways. Nobody is making off-the-ball runs unless they believe they will receive the initial pass. It's always just one, on rare occasions two, guys in motion at the same time. This doesn't create spaces and pull defenders out of position, it's such a passive way of trying to build up attacks. Two guys play a pass between themselves and the other eight just stand and watch what's happening. Then it's time for the next two. No chemistry, no anticipation, no off-the-ball movement, no urgency.

And the thing is, if the manager just gave better instructions, we could easily play better. Not saying we'd beat everyone, but at least get more to show for from games against Newcastle, West Brom and Watford than one point with a -5 goal difference. Tell the attacking players to drop deeper to receive the ball. Tell the players to make runs even if they're unlikely to receive the initial pass. Play it faster in the final third, too many of our players like to hold onto the ball unnecessarily. This is what needed to change under Rodgers and I'm disappointed that right now it's looking no different under Klopp.

So you're proud of him being tactically inept?
