As is Benteke when you play him right. We'll happily take him back, might get a couple of points then!

We have too many 'similar' players. Rodgers bought wrongly again in the transfer market thus Klopp has inherited a complete mixed bag.

The system isn't working so the only thing I'd suggest is to try something different, but with injuries up front it's hard to do that.

At the moment the problem is the midfield. Henderson and Miller are similar, Allen and Lucas are similar, Coutinho and Firmino are similar, Lallana doesn't have much to his game and Can is very hit and miss.

The system doesn't suit Benteke at all however he doesn't really help himself by dropping deep a lot. We need to get some width about us and start Ibe more often to give that natural pace instead of having 3 people playing the number 10 role.

We all know of the qualities of some of these players, but it's shown too inconsistently. Klopp has a lot of work to do in the transfer market and I'll only judge him fully once he's had enough time to bring in his own players and implement his own stamp.

You'll have to talk to Paul Lambert about that, when you're getting barely any service for around 2 years, you tend to come back to look for the ball.

I can understand why he was as with 3 players playing a number 10 role you'd expect quite a bit of service but they're failing to deliver. No one goes wide enough either to get the crosses in to Benteke so it must be frustrating to him, although saying that he is quite often caught offside. It's either laziness or poor timing of the runs he does make.

Is the 'injury crisis' Klopp's fault? Former Welsh fitness coach and all around oddball Raymond Verheijen says it's predictable.
I have to say, I don't remember Dortmund having a notoriously poor injury record in his time. Maybe he is just struggling to adapt his methods to a league without a winter break.

The fixture schedule is ridiculous. Something will have to change.

They should bin the Capitol One Cup to start with. It adds quite a few games onto a season of a team going fairly far. And it's not worth anymore than the Community Shield anyway really.

Were this to occur earlier in the season than a case could be made but I don't think you can blame Klopp, or any other manager in a similar situation following the Christmas fixture list. I doubt any of them have even trained given the proximity of games. Any gaps would only really allow for recovery.

Liverpool have 4 away games in the space of 9 days! That is just crazy.

And also gives some lower league teams a chance of getting some much needed money and to upset the big boys and write their name into the history books.

drop the prem to 18 Teams like it was originally planned to be and that's 4 less games, a 2 week winter break just after the FA cup 3rd round.

It's ok cos my other 12 teams won. We'll probably win at least 5 titles this season and even if some of them do bad I can just distance myself and start calling them "they" like a disloyal whorebag :box:
tbh.
Salty is a bit disloyal in his disloyalty. He's getting there though. This summer he'll stop using we altogether.

Otherwise we may have to eliminate him.

If I'm disloyal with my disloyalty doesn't that make me loyal? :D

Oh they definitely did. It was blamed for his last season in charge and Pisczek, Hummels, Subotic, Gundogan, Reus all missed pretty significant time.

We have too many 'similar' players.

I often thought the same about Barcelona under Guardiola and it's clearly the reason that neither team won very much.

Jurgen has expressed his utmost respect for Wenger's great contributions to Arsenal saying ‘My respect has grown for him since I’m here. He’s one of the best in the world’

Stockport County.
Rodgers' Liverpool would have won comfortably today.

Forget all this nonsense about needing to build his own team, he has taken Liverpool backwards.

He won't see the next Christmas period to be able to whinge about it and bore us all to tears at least.
