Us and grimsby have been charged with not controlling our players after scott bennett was sent off, fuckin joke! it was no more than what you see when any player is sent off in any game.

Us and Southend had a fine for similar too for a pretty nothing incident on Boxing Day. Surprised me at the time and I just assumed it must happen quite regularly but you never really hear of it when it's not your club.

Yep, we had a recent charge from the Bradford game which I think remains a mystery - the best explanation was that it was a new rule about getting in people's faces (cos of covid and all that...).

We had one at Orient last year when their side tried to take on Popey who didn’t back down.

Sure we got a couple of grand fine and Orient the same.

Scot Bennett is the nicest bloke you could ever meet so I was perplexed that he was sent off.

Just looked at the footage of the sending-off incident and it was something and nothing.

Standing ??? people actually still stand at the match !!
I stand. I stand on a terrace. Its the only way to watch a proper football match.

Namby pambies who aint got the strength to stand for a couple of hours should take a long hard look at themselves...except it would probably hurt their feelings.

I think you need to add the words 'if fit' Casey.

I rather stand on a terrace, if I'm allowed to of course, but there are some that just cannot stand for 120 mins due to health reasons, esp. with arthritis, which contrary to popular belief does not only affect the +60 years olds.

Yeah, can't see a lot wrong tbh. Bit of a rash tackle and a bit of handbags.

Haha. I'm not sure but that game looks some sort of amateur/pub league game. If so, and I were the player on the end of that tackle, then I'm sure I would end up facing murder charges in no time at all. That sort of thing in a non pro-game makes my blood boil.

Vanni; of course and I meant no offence.

Truthfully, it is down to personal choice and circumstances. The person I have gone to most football matches refuses to sit. Almost got chucked out at Old Trafford. Another person I have been with refuses to stand.

Its a bit like sex really. The enjoyment does not depend on position: it's all down to performance!

Is yours more than usual whilst you do your stadium up?
Our stadium was 'finished' a couple of seasons ago, there isnt any plans to change it.
I think we will get a reduction next season if we are a ST holder this; which will be something.

Let's face it, with the odd exception of the brilliantly run Accrington....most clubs in lower league football have the same moral compass as their EPL bigger brothers.
City fans taking the high ground against barrow....short memories of daddy's boy Rhodes fucking off local businesses ring any bells? Twice that no mark stain did that, so he could cling on to his sole purpose in life. The bozo.

Harrogate town played the furlough card last year.....with their paultry array of non football staff (cos Irving Weaver likes to get freebies from mistaken volunteers whilst his son sinks £2.5k a week contracts in bench warmers), put into furlough, they then decided to pay around £50k on Aaron Martin.

Modern football is tainted from top to bottom and the sooner the current shitshow comes crashing down and clubs have to restart, preferably adopting a European approach to fan stake holding the better.

Bit late noticing this, but it's a ridiculous charge. Is this just the FA boosting their coffers? The iFollow footage cut out to replay the incident but players were only surrounding the ref like after any incident. There was no exchange between the two sets of players. How we've been fined for that when Southend were about 100 times worse against us is a mystery to me. Not sure why either ourselves or Newport have been fined. Perhaps the ref's report has stitched us up.

FA boosting their coffers at the expence of the clubs who are struggling for every penny they can get, if i was a cynic i would think the fa are deliberately trying to bankrupt their member clubs.

John Yems receives a two game touchline ban and a £750 fine for improper conduct. Trying to enter the referee's room.

I'm not sure if he will be allowed into the stand. If he is would he count as a spectator?

Both clubs fined a grand. Few cases of prosecco for their end of season bash there.

It's good that they're looking to kick on and setting their sights high but can Morecambe realistically be competitive and sustainable in L1 at all, never mind in 2024? They'd be the smallest Club to have been in L1 maybe?

Fleetwood?

Fleetwood?

I'd say Fleetwood, Accrington and Crawley are probably on a par with each other for that crown. Yeovil as well maybe?

Always a pointless discussion around size of clubs really as its not really defined anywhere and its only people's opinion but its always interesting/dull as hell (delete as appropriate)
