Not saying United's commercialisation has gone too far, but tonight they painted some children blue to promote an X-Men film.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Agree with this. The whole thing just shows what a fucking shambles we are from the very top to the bottom at the moment.

Hang on... Don't you support Alfreton?

Got their work cut out to bag 18 in the second half.

Awful game of football really, but expected no less. We'll lose 2-0 as we haven't done the customary gifting of a goal yet.

Tempted to watch the much more exciting sounding playoff game

Rooney nipping in with a goal just to make sure everybody is awake.
Wish we'd just occasionally use our pace more directly for once.

And people wonder why we give Silky so much shit. I've never seen such a display of relief and glee at struggling into 4th.
Courtesy of the dodgy point they got from the Worst offisde goal in the history of football against Newcastle

Such a stupid chant. Imagine singing that in a place that you thought might be a library in order to get confirmation.

Wildly inappropriate.
Save it for Waterstones.

Hang on.. Dont you support Macclesfield?

That gets mentioned every time the Manyoo Alliance run out of coherent arguments (so... A lot). It's funny that they've never turned on you for it. Can't think why

Michael Carrick and Dan Gosling. Both playing the same position in the same game, but aren't in the same space time dimension.

Credit to those Cherries who did manage to travel. Excellent noise coming from them (the only noise in Old Trafford, it seems)

Wilson sticks it in the end at one end, flagged offside.
So of course United go straight up the other end and score their second.

I turned this off at half time, quite why a Macclesfield Town fan is so enthused by it boggles my mind.

Rashford's goal any good?

What was the attendance? About 30,000? Looked very empty.

I don't post here normally so might have missed this but I thought Silkyman was the Macclesfield poster from TFF? Hence Silkmen? Or did I miss something?

Well that's our maiden top flight season signed off. 16th place, 5 points above relegation, a zillion goals conceded but quite a few wonderful moments and memories along the way.

Not least beating United at home! ;)

A fuck load of work for the club to do, both on and off the pitch this summer. Going to be very interesting.

Nice little relaxed kickabout before the cup final I suppose, some well worked goals. Bournemouth failing to have a single shot on target says it all really.

He decided to support Manchester City when they started buying good players like Aguero. I don't think he even checks Macclesfield's results these days, spends all his time getting annoyed by the anti Manchester City and pro Manchester United media.

He is the same poster.

It's "complicated", apparently.

Well that's a good way for United to finish of a highly frustrating season, they were going in the Europa League no matter what happened tonight weren't they? So to go straight into the group will do them a favour and save them travelling the arse end of Europe in July. Must improve next season.

Great season for Bournemouth, goal achieved and will be interested to see where they go from here. More investment and stabilising like Swansea or will it be 2nd season syndrome?
