Denying a goal scoring opportunity is a red card offence so Shirley if it was a penalty, it had to be a red card too???

On a serious note, our Yoof were a bit more Green Street-y that usual today but the introduction of the riot police was silly and made them feel even more as if they were the main stars in the filming of Green Street 4. Someone on our forum shared a similar opinion to mine... The stewards, by and large, were handling things pretty well and there were enough of them to deal with it. No one had gone on the pitch and no punches had been thrown. When riot police arrive, they are under the impression that a riot is occurring or going to happen imminently which was quite clearly not the case here. So then when they did turn up they were a lot more 'up for it' than the situation needed which inflamed things. God knows what Barnet are going to do in the event of hosting a play-off semi-final against a 'big' club.

You can see how worked up the Woking fans were if you watch the highlights. Bunch of neanderthals. Personally don't think the red card was a red, although that challenge at the end definitely should've been, especially when you compare it to the one Togwell was sent off for in the FA Cup earlier this season. Also think they show how dominant we were in the first half.

Seriously, stop defending the actions of hooligans, which some of your fans were today. This wasn't some playful actions trying to unnerve Akinde. These were out of control individuals, frothing at the mouth whilst trying to pull off our goal net.

It really does you no favour trying to defend them. It's the worst conduct I've seen in a long time at Barnet. Horrible, nasty conduct

Quote from the Woking forum:

'No wonder they charge so much, they obviously have to buy the referee every game they play.

Fucking cheats, they had nothing on us all game, even when the ref earned his brown envelope and gave them a penalty for nothing, and sent us down to 10, we were still at least equal to them.

Revolting team.

Pathetic support.

We'll see them next season, they're not good enough to go up.

Wankers.'

You're being uncharacteristically positive, has someone stolen your login? You forgot to mention the three Barnet fans sitting down singing 'you'll only be non-league' whilst Yemi stormed through to smash one home. Cue the dead silence, again. Fair play to the three for having a go though. Last time I saw people singing whilst sat down was at Staines. Says a lot. :fl:

I think most of our fans wanted to hear the roars of primal rage coming from the previously undiscovered species (now known as 'Angry Woking fans') in our away terrace. It beat hearing the usual We're On Our Way - after all, we've got plenty more games for us to sing that one.

And then they cheered tumultuously when we beat you 2-1. 2-1 the final score. We can all be twats if we want to be.

I get the feeling you had a big grasps on the goal net now. Hoped that you might have been a little bit better than that. B2F's southern brother. Worst appraisal ever.

It's disgusting the FA are allowing the dirty bastards to get away with it, time for the top brass to show some balls and do something about this club and it's set of thugs.

Aye, ban them all and make them play their U12s next week. They'd still fucking beat us though.

It's clearly the greatest moment in George Reilly's Hairpiece's life! I'm pleased for him. :woo:

Indeed. Sometimes it takes just any win, and given our record against Woking, I'd take any win.

Shame how some of their fans were, as I was impressed the way their players stuck in there and gave themselves a great chance of getting an unlikely point.

Not a very good game today. Distinctly lacklustre from Altrincham, especially in the first half, but Aldershot were the poorest team I've seen in this division so far. They were gifted the ball on numerous occasions from misplaced passes, but never punished mistakes, giving the ball straight back as often as not. Hoping to see a more "together" show on Tuesday night.

We were simply shocking today. We play Welling, Alfreton and Dartford in our next three games. Anything less than 9 points and we are down.

And get your tickets now for Alfreton v Aldershot. It will be the biggest shitfest ever between the two worst teams in the Conference.

Depends which Alfreton turns up as always. The one at Woking which has turned up the most or the one today at home to Southport. Dont think it will be pretty though.

And here's the highlights of today's game. Not a red. First contact seems to be made outside the penalty area. Main contact clearly inside. Great save from Stack at the end which the referee gave a goal kick for.

Edit: Forgot to mention, look at all that net RIPPING going on during the penalty. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE CALL THE RIOT POLICE IN ETC.
hahahaha that second Barnet goal. Poor Jake Cole....what chance has he got playing with that shower.

WHO R YA!

I wouldn't have thought the best place to get a balanced view would be a clubs forum lol

I don't think it was a red but there's not enough in it for a successful appeal meaning he'll miss Kidderminster (A) and Lincoln (A) which is a big blow. It has also been revealed that the referee was swearing at the Woking players during the game.
If only Dean Gordon had not been HOUNDED out of your club he may been back covering and then it may have only been a yellow!
You fans should be ashamed HOUNDING him out like that!
HOUNDED I tell ya.......!! :D

Safety just about guaranteed now. Which is nice. Just a matter of seeing how high up we can finish. Still a theoretical chance of playoffs to keep us motivated, even if the chances are extremely slim.

Why are Woking such a detestable little club? Constantly give it the big bollocks and how no one's fans can match up to their mighty 550.

Maybe Barnet only got 1500 for a 'local derby' because quite frankly they don't give a s**t about Woking?? The whole club just screams tinpot, can't even get away fans in their ground, you'd think when your opponents bring 2600 they would try to accommodate them, not lock 400 out. You'd think they'd want the money - and the crowd. Must have been like watching a world cup final :bye:

Last season we were third when we played Woking and the attendance was around 1700. This time it's around 2050 even allowing for the NLD having it's regular affect on numbers.

Our average home attendance in league 2 was 1700 and there is no doubt the move has lost us a number of fans. Last time we played Woking when top of the league was in the season we went up and the crowd was 2100 so really feel some have a false impression of our size tbh.
