Which game were they stewarding today? I think that means they have everything to do with FC Filofax Town.

Now I can't claim to know exactly what has gone on today as I didn't travel ( who would voluntarily go to Halifax?) but there seems to be one common denominator when something like this happens, its always at FC Halifax Town.

I'll wait for more level headed reports before commenting any further.

You seem rather hard of hearing, the stewards are arranged by the council, the club has no input at all. Town fans have as many issues with them as away fans. Please address any complaints to the liable parties. As for your other comments, the facts are facts, our side is one of the cleanest in the league.

Triggering two post match brawls in four months says different. I think it has to be a points deduction for Hailfax after today. It's the only way they'll learn.

Safety mathematically assured today. That seemed rather unlikely 6 months ago, so I'm happy with that,

You are right, there's nothing like allowing youself to be punched in the face 3 times for initiating a brawl. I fear the worst. :woo:

By all accounts our player started this one.

From someone at the game, both teams were very niggly and the ref just didn't control it at all.

Smith headbutted Halls(?) and then the rest of the 'brawl' was people splitting those two up.

The FGR one was very much instigated by them, this one we have to take the flack for.

Ok, I didn't see what preceded it, I only saw Adam Smith under a sustained assault by several Macclesfield players.

Halifax to blame? I'm not having it! They're such innocent polite boys!

And you keep believing those lines about the stewards!

Pleased you'll be in this division next season. Not only because I didn't get to visit this year but you pass the ball and play football in the right way.

Cheers Aldershot :)

Win tomorrow and we're two points off Macc, and only 7/10 points off the worst Grimsby side ever :woo:
Eastleigh are the only team that can stop us if we win the rest of our games, otherwise it's in our hands. Buzzing for tomorrow, COYC

Genuinely fed up now, end the season already.

As I said last week, if you need points then we are there for the taking at the moment, pitiful.

Pretty impressive considering we're mid-table and our season was over three weeks ago.

You only have to listen to those mouth breather Halifax fans on that video to know that thuggery is actively encouraged and cheered there every week.

Oh, and conclusive proof of them starting another brawl. I guess it'll be down to the "ref failing to control the players" though instead of the players actually controlling themselves. Naive from Macclesfield to fall into the trap though, should know by now what goes on there.

Why wouldn't I? Facts are facts. The same pillocks steward the rugby games. Ypur complaints will be passed on to the council's stadium management department. If your not happy with that, well you'll just have to keep on believing its the football club's problem.

Let's compare cards for the season then, how many you got?

Oh and you seem to be forgetting we've all seen Bootleggers Youtube videos of Wrexham's finest. :milk:

Macclesfield dirtiest side I've seen in the Conference. Misogyny by their manager in the away game, now racist abuse from Turnbull on Smith in the home game, as well as professional fouls throughout today's game. I hope they have the book thrown at them.

Euurgh if there's anything more annoying than a thick tw*t shouting their gob off it's a thick Yorkie tw*t shouting their gob off. I hope they throw the book at Smith.

Is there actually any proof of this?

They were pretty dirty against us the other week, should have seen a red after the elbow on Taylor.

Good win today, strange game, we didn't look 4 goals better and I didn't feel we actually played that we'll to be honest. I mean we were decent, but not 5-1 decent. But at the same time, especially at half time, we should have gone on to win by 6 or 7 really. Chester were shocking at the back and their keeper is worse than me. Also, he looks nothing like a keeper at all. Whenever we put pressure on them or even had a shot, it felt like we could have scored.

Despite that, the goals were pretty lucky though, the first came from a magnificent interception from the ref which led us to counter and score. The 2nd a pretty large deflection. The 3rd the keeper palmed it right into monkhouse, the 4th was a rookie error and he let it slip through his hands. The 5th was actually a beautiful finish from Harrison, so no complaints there. The linesman had an absolute shocker, Taylor ruled offside when he was through on goal, despite actually being in his own half, Harrison as well when he was clearly onside. Chester could have had a red early on too, but I felt a yellow was fair, although I've seen them given.

The game could have ended very differently though if Chester didn't miss an open goal after taking the ball round our keeper.

As I say, strange game, but can't complain after a 5-1 win! Just need a Gateshead win by 5 goals now and a Nuneaton point or 3 to set us up for Monday which would be great!

Also what happened at FGR?!?! I left the room for 5 minutes and it was suddenly 3-1!

We've played Braintree 9 times since we've been down here (8 league, 1 cup) and scored 3 against them on six occasions.

And Parkes's elbow on Fairhurst last week?
I'll be honest, I don't remember it. Nor have I seen the highlights/bt sport.

No wait, I remember something about you lot getting all worked up about Parkes, but I was in the seating and for the split second, looked away. Did BT confirm it should have been a red then?

Sorry to be all Wenger-esque!

As much as the one on Taylor from what someone has posted on last weeks match thread. I was behind the goal so too far away from either to give a proper opinion. I don't think any highlights have been released anywhere for some reason?

The thing is last weeks game wasn't dirty, and there were no lasting effects from either decision which saw the game turn rotten. It was just well fought out all across the pitch.

Today's sounds the total opposite.
