So the whole of the National League won't be on FIFA 22, but some clubs are.

Wrexham are one of those clubs. I'd assume going off previous teasers, we will see Stockport and Woking on there too.

Oh and Barnet.

Rumours going around that we're only getting an allocation of 600 tickets for Bromley. Hope they're prepared for Town fans in the home end if that's the case.
700 with 100 seating. Fuck sake. That will all be gobbled up by ST holders. Bromley well off enough to be throwing money away here then.

We have been informed by Bromley that any GTFC fans found in possession of a home ticket will have their ticket voided and removed from the stadium.
Gonna have to keep quiet.

Paid £26 for me and 1 kid to go to Kings Lynn (would have been £31 in the seats), if that doesn't tell you football in this country is fucked nothing will. Still I'm part of the problem cos I was happy to pay it!

Just to add to this, our first bit of tinpottery encountered - Kings Lynn said the game was unsegregated. Seems we've sold about 1000 tickets already, many in the seats. They've now changed their mind about no segregation and have been sending round emails to anyone with Southend and surrounding postcodes that are in the seating asking them to confirm if they really need to sit, cos now Southend fans can't sit in the seats.
??? Surely you can't announce no seg, sell loads of tickets then change your mind. I'd have thought at the prices they are charging they'd be happy to see a stadium full of people, regardless of which team they support.

No decisions make sense down here. Wait till you see the refs.

Clubs have to provide seats for away fans.

Dipped into your forum, it’s Belt arrogance mania. You will love our dump upgraded to a tip.

I went to Spurs v Chelsea last time you could go. Sat in my business partners season tickets and had to stay quiet when Chelsea scored twice. Fortunately they scored at the other end.

Was eventually sussed as I stayed on as the Chelsea team celebrated with the away fans just to our left. By then, almost every Spurs fan had gone and managed to brush it off.

That said, if you get caught out in the wrong end, I’d expect you to get kicked out.

btw, clubs at this level, especially non belts, are generally well run, so don’t need to chase every pound that is on offer.

At this level those that want to go will simply pay these prices, lower prices don’t really mean higher attendances at this level. Never been to Lynn but for the same price as our away end I guess the facilities are worlds apart. We give 300 terrace tickets to teams that might sell out the away end of 1200 but then you risk not getting a ticket by trying to save £6.

Maybe so, but that's a sizeable chunk of money over the course of the season to be snubbing if you're limiting us, Notts, Chesterfield. Wrexham, Stockport and Southend to 800 tickets. Even for a well ran club. That's probably the wage of a decent player next season at this level.

But the reality is most of those clubs don’t bring anywhere near that amount of fans.

chatting to other fans of traditional non league clubs, their away sections have never needed to be extended to cater for more away fans.

If all of those teams are at the right end of the table they easily push towards and over four figure followings to their local away games and to those around London (if on Saturdays at 3pm at least), I'd imagine. We did several times during our first time down here. As did Luton, Lincoln and Bristol Rovers when they were down here. I don't remember anyone ever not accommodating larger away followings before. Like I said, hopefully they'll increase our allocation. Regardless of whether or not certain clubs take a certain amount or if Bromley need or don't need the cash, we haven't been able to go to a match for absolutely ages. It's gonna be incredibly frustrating if we can't all be together. Especially when there'll be space for about 3000 fans elsewhere in the ground. In addition to that, we've already had our second away day of the season moved from a 3pm August Bank Holiday Monday match to 7.45pm the day after.

Would expect us to take 1000+ to all London games. More if doing well

I don't really know what to expect with travelling numbers this season. On the one hand there is pent up demand due to not going in ages but on the other there are still plenty wary of travelling due to Covid.

My Argyle supporting mate said they only took 1000 to Rotherham today which he reckons is about half what he expected. :dk:

Yeah, I guess there will be a bit of that. Perhaps weighted towards older supporters being less willing to travel?

Sounds like there could be 1200 Southend fans at King's Lynn. Mad

Are tickets on sale for everyone else? Absolute radio silence from both Grimsby and Bromley on ours.
Aldershot have just put ours on sale today for the opening day. Not the most attractive trip and not exactly close either but think we will still take 6/700 maybe given the circumstances

Unfortunately I think the options will be limited. No-one seems to be 100% on what our capacity is nowadays as we had to make changes whilst in the NLN and then COVID hit but I would guess around 5800-6000 including the seating which is only in the main stand (Lynn fans rightly embarrassed by the clubs attitude to your potential seated fans). Much of the alterations were around terrace segregation for away fans so it then makes it difficult to expand that area and still be compliant, there are options but I guess much will depend on the will of the club (generally governed by £££s) and the view of the Safety Advisory Group who are not the best.

Hope you enjoy the game, the Walks will be an interesting introduction for you to non-league

What sort of gates do you expect? Coming down on bank holiday Monday. Think it’ll be a fairly popular one for us (not quite Southend levels though)

Really difficult to say, we built back up to just under 1500 in the truncated NLN season but that was with a winning team and a couple of big games (Boston local derby and top of the table clash with York). Given the age profile of the traditional supporter base I think we will do well to average 1500-1750 home fans so hopefully with away fans we will tip the 2000 mark across the season. The big fear is if we struggle like we did last season gates may drop off badly, particularly midweek.
