The half got progressively slower. It's never a good sign when you can hear the players communicating with each other.

Grimsby better for the first 10, Southend the next 20 or so, but Grimsby were the better in their good spell than Southend were in theirs.

Thought we looked poor to be honest, luckily Southend aren't very good.

First five mins I thought it could be a cricket score but the next 35 we barely got out our half think there was one chance from Sousa on 30 mins. Thankfully Southend despite having so much of the ball barely troubled us.

Last 5 mins was better but we seem to be lacking that desire and creation to get another. Sousa looking the most threatening down the left. We need a second though otherwise can see a last minute sickener from Southend!
