Sorry for stealing somebodies thunder but wanted to start a thread to detract away from the systimatic bullying our fans are suffering on last weeks thread.

Anyway (no fancy write up sorry) here's the games for this weekend with a friday night cracker

Friday 19th
Grimsby Town v Southend United

Sat 20th
Barnet v Torquay United
Boreham Wood v Maidenhead United
Bromley v King's Lynn Town
Dagenham & Redbridge v Yeovil Town
Dover Athletic v FC Halifax Town
Eastleigh v Notts County
Solihull Moors v Chesterfield
Weymouth v Altrincham
Woking v Stockport County
Wrexham v Wealdstone

On our game, we've never won at Solihull and they seem to always have a decent side so a tough one for us in which i'd take a point. Everyone will be suprised to know we still have 10 out injured and 1 suspended still so we're down to the bones as such (I think only 1 fit first team player won't make the bench so only 16 or so available) so don't expect us to make many changes.

Sold 750 of the initial allocation and we're given 250 more late last night so should be a decent following to what I think is the worst away day in living memory.

We need a win and hope Solihoof do their job to stay within sight of Rampant Chesterfield. The best team in the league.

Then again that might mean BWOOD end up top after the weekend

All eyes on Cleethorpes for Beleaguered Grimsby (who were the best team in the league a month ago) who take on worst team in the league Sarfend.

Dover away. Not won all season. What could possibly go wrong. Exactly the sort of game we would somehow contrive to lose in previous seasons. I have a little bit more faith in this seasons team but still nervous about dropping points.

Going to go for a 2-0 away win in this one. Hopefully re establish a 1 win gap in the play offs at the same time ahead of Hollywood Fc's visit in midweek. ;)

Genuinely looking forward to seeing how bad we look on tv. We look bad enough in the flesh and it always looks worse on a screen.

We’ll take the 4 losses since his injury as proof I was right and another one on the list.

Feel slightly better about tonight’s game but if we lose there’s some big questions that need to be asked. The honeymoon period is over now and the excuses are starting to wear thin.

Tricky game, they’ve not had a great start but their home record is pretty good.

Never been to Solihull before so looking forward to getting it out of way. The ground write ups don't look that promising do they...glamously sandwiched between the airport and the Jaguar Land Rover factory.

Beers and a curry round Birmingham afterwards anyway so should lift the spirits if we come a cropper, as we usually do against them.

That's our plan too. Might even pop to the Xmas markets for a beer

Yeovil at home, needs to be 3 points if we’re to keep pace with play off position after our recent dip. Don’t know much about Yeovil looks like they do not score much or concede much and against us the complete opposite who score and concede for fun. McCallum is back so big call for McMahon to bring him straight back in after our tonking of Maidenhead.

From the other thread: -

Do Wrexham lose their brotherhood status for believing that a tinpotter will take more to the Racecourse than a fellow brother?

Rhys Browne has to start tomorrow as without him we have no pace to be able to counter attack. 3-5-2, keep it fairly compact and hope the home fans start to turn on their team.

---------------------------------------

7 points from the last 3 so we're coming into the game in relatively good form. For the Wrexham fans on here, any pubs you can recommend for away fans that won't lead to any hassle?

Annoying, but this is one injury we can't complain too much about given Manny's injury record prior to signing. But yes, big loss. I am somewhat less confident in us winning tomorrow now, but hopeful that the extra match and extra time for Solihull will see us victors.

Interesting to see who is fit for us tomorrow as I suspect we may have had a minor unannounced covid outbreak (two were missing last Saturday with ‘illness’ and the bench was a bit light Tuesday).

Eastleigh never that easy a place to go, lost our two games there in the NL so far without scoring, but we’ll no doubt be going for the win tomorrow, and as said above, they aren’t in great form, but pretty decent at home. I predict a score draw or a narrow away win.

Burchnall said Cameron and O’Brien might be back for Saturday, which tallies up perfectly with the ten day isolation period, so imagine it is that. Lacey is getting a bit annoying, he’s really good but gets some sort of minor injury every time he goes near the pitch.

If Cameron, Lacey and JOB are still out the team pretty much picks itself. Bit trickier if they’re available.

Looking forward to the match tomorrow in front of a big crowd. We have scored in every match this season and expect to tomorrow. Another 3 points would be very nice

I'm already questioning my sanity as in a few hours I depart for Grimsby. I'm going to be optimistic and say we'll score, so 3-1 Grimsby. Hoping for a decent game and some goals, if I was being wildly optimistic we might score 2, so 5-2 would be likely.

We have been better defensively, other than at Torquay but aren’t scoring enough. We won’t necessarily park the bus but will defend as a unit when required. Depends who is picked in midfield as to how attacking we go.

The bad news is that we've got another player out (hamstring), the good news is that the only first team player who was previously fit that doesn't feature in the training video on YouTube from this week is Lenny. Mind you, Taylor doesn't look up to much without McAtee so we might struggle to score again. I'll take any kind of win here.

At least we have a replacement in McCourt, even if he isn't quite as good.

I would take a point, all three would be fantastic and possibly the result of the season so far.

Fair play that is a serious effort on a Friday night

For a Friday night under Southend's circumstances that's an amazing effort KM. Cap duly doffed.

Aye. Wonder whether we'll line up with Tshimanga up front on his own like last weekend or if he'll get some company in the form of Payne?

Devastating news about Manny being injured. It's always on the cards with the guy though sadly. Hopefully McCourt can slot in ok

Woking away.

Trying to get myself up for this one to be honest.

Got Frankie Goes to Hollywood on

When two tribes go to war, a point is all that you can score, score them all, score them all

Not working really. There's nothing to say about Woking really except they're most likely playing us at a good time after our Wednesday exertions and the potential for us not getting quite so up for this one.
