Stockport looked pretty impressive I thought, Dagenham are decent themselves and got blown away today.
Not a great week for Chesterfield and Halifax but it is only a week with half a season to go.

My dear fellow, of course I'm right. One thing I can NEVER be accused of is hiding from an adverse result, I will ALWAYS turn up to "face the music". How many of the tossers on here can say that. Not many. :ds:
been having to do that for the past 3 1/2 seasons, gonna enjoy a sojourn of seeing the Mighty Blues getting a smattering of wins now.......and next season..........

He’s been reading Son of Cod’s posts on here.

Bromley are the last team you want to get into a random beef with. They’ll just keep shithousing annoying wins against you forever now.

A team with Chris Bush and Michael Cheek asking for respect, give him all credit for saying it with a straight face!

I'd Keegan style love it if we got them in the playoffs and shithoused them out with a dodgy 1-0 win. This is of course wishful thinking as we're probably going to finish about 15th.

He later went on to say how it was the worst Grimsby team he'd seen.

Bromley are definitely the biggest bunch of shithouses in the league.

Hopefully people who watched this tonight will see how poor we are defensively and why we won’t be troubling the top 7. We’re too slow with the ball at times and come unstuck against teams who get in our face, we will probably beat the crap sides still but come unstuck against the better teams. Halifax and Chesterfield next two Saturdays, can’t wait…..not.

It’s another dud season under McMahon, trophy is still up for grabs but lots of better teams left in it.

Don't worry about us, just flip over onto bobs board for the big fans melt down. We've lost 2 matches to date and are sat at the top of the league ( yes I know things are tight). 2 bad results in a Rowe ( see what I did) and the knives are out

Thought we deserved at least a point against Wrexham. Should have been 2 or 3 up at half time and it was inevitable Wrexham would get back into it. The 1st goal shouldn’t have been allowed to happen as Gorman was down with a head injury. But we are in desperate need of reinforcements, players looked knackered at the end.

How long is it until we get some footage of this miss from the Lidl Quigley?

Rowe’s head absolutely went today with that team selection and the tactics that went with them. Stocky would’ve been screaming ‘I told you’ to everyone in earshot if he was at the Technique today as we punted ball after ball up to Quigley. Asante isn’t a 10, Weston isn’t a sweeper, no idea what the fuck we were doing. Rowe and Clarke out for the rest of the season is more of a nightmare than I first feared. Fewwwwwmin. I’ve decided we’re not winning league now unless these next couple of signings are top quality. Stockport’s to lose.

DC's shaggers are gonna romp it!
Absolutely mental we didn't hire him in summer.

Got more money than anyone, but Challinor went to Stockport and Tshimanga went to Chesterfield. Shaun Harvey and Les Read had an absolute mare pre season.

I’d take Woodmans comments on the chin if they made any sense. In reality they accused us of lying about covid cases and then celebrated in front of our fans rather than their own in both games, now the fat bastard has the audacity to blame us for it all

If the referee stopped play for every 'head injury' your players suffered, the game would still be going on now. Agree that you should've buried that game in the first half though. First goal was a shocker to concede, our keeper beaten at near post from a weak-ish shot from 20 yards.

On one of our rare forays forward 2 Woking players, went down in their 6 yard box whilst we had were just about to play the ball back in the box. Ref stops play, neither player required any treatment and were up on their feet within seconds of the game stopping. At Bromley their players did similar, on 3 or 4 occasions players went down held there heads and no treatment needed, even got a player sent off.

Until they bring a law in that if the ref stops the game for, in his opinion the player needs medical assistance, then the player should leave the field and not re enter play until 2 minutes have been played.

Then the fuckers will stop cheating.

I think he needs to learn that respect has to be earned, and he and his players have earned none the fucking fat wanker.

I imagine it was yet another one of those phantom Yeovil head injuries like in the game at our place getting our guy sent off.

I think we've still got improvements left in us on the ball. Last three games we've won comfortably but not created as many chances as we'd like.

As Lee Wilson points out, our pressing is really, really good and it's a testimony to Challinor's coaching because we were the polar opposite under Rusk. We press well but in an organised fashion.

I've taken to Challinor since Day One just seems to know his shit at this level. They'll be bumps in the road but he's earned my trust 100%.

The bump in the road could well be Tuesday with it being Maidenhead. Hopefully the game raising bastards will have burnt themselves out and their last two results have our lads on our toes. If we win, we'll hit the 2 point per game mark for the season which is remarkable really from where Rusk left us. Post Rusk it's 28 points from 33 plus a draw at Bolton away beating them in extra time at home, pushing Rotherham all the way in the next round and two comfortable Trophy wins.

Long, long way to go yet but I do think we have more improvement us, I don't think we're at our maximum capacity particularly with the ball.

I thought the Bromley manager had fucked off to Gillingham? Just wanted to give Grimsby one more dig on the ribs?

It’s unbelievable how good our pressing game has become in such a short space of time.

We were so horrendous off the ball under Rusk and our midfield was the biggest issue. I thought no matter who took over we needed big personal changes and a formation change but despite being one of his biggest critics I completely underestimated how much Rusk was to blame for that as well.

Now, through a combination of having a competent coach with a coherent plan, dropping Rooney and getting Collar and Croasdale much fitter and in turn much more mobile and sharper, we have turned our weakness into our strength.

Well, hopefully we can kick on this month and get some more points on the board. If I had a wish, it would be to be safe from relegation before April, so when we play Notts Co. , Halifax, Stockport and Wrexham, we can play with a bit of a swagger and all the games will be top drawer viewing whatever the result.

Also, we could have a major influence on the top seven in April.

Stockport are no doubt the favourites for the title given their form, but any of the top 7 could still win it I reckon. I don't expect Stockport's form to last forever.

Stockport will go top and then start losing just like everyone else who has gone top. Notts are doing it right, postponing all their games so they only go top at the end of the season.
